"get a move on would you?" i say as i climb into mark's truck.
"wow thats extremely rude." i look at mark with a smile on my face.
"i know it is, but we're already late and the boys are expecting us."
"hm, okay," he replies. "but this is the only time im taking orders from you!"
i chuckle as he does what i say.
we arrive at renjun's and we park right in the driveway. we walk up to his door and enter without knocking. the cabinets are open and there are plates of food on the counter. the television is playing a movie and there's popcorn spilled on the carpet, jisung and chenle must be here already. everything is on and food is out, but why was the house empty?
"we're here!" mark yells.
no answer.
"hello? guys?" mark yells again.
silence.
"they're supposed to be here right?" i question. "or are we meeting at jeno's again?"
"no," mark replies. "we made it clear in the groupchat that we're meeting at ren's..."
"should we check the house?"
"seems like the only option, how about you text ren?"
"why me? ill search the house."
"ren won't answer right away when i text, you guys are basically conjoined at the hip." mark states.
"i thought me and you were," i mumble.
mark pats my head. "ill be right back, hm?" i nod my head. he leaves to check the basement with the flash on his phone on.
