"mark?" i ask. "you okay down there?"
i walk down the stairs to see the lights still off, did mark not turn them on?

"mark where are you?" i check the nearest room which happened to be renjun's game room.

it was empty.

the next room was the bathroom and that too was empty. the last room left was the laundry room, i opened the door and it was pitch black. i look for the lightswitch and i succeed on turning it on, the door then slams shut.

i turn around, i was facing a man with his "bodyguards". me and the boys know these people, they are somone we fear. these are the men who almost took jeno from us.
he stepped closer to me while i stepped back. behind him i can see mark unconscious, surrounded by renjun and the others tied up and duct taped, trying to wake him up by nudging him with their feet.

"you know what i need jani..." the main man says. he stops walking towards me and stands there with his hands in his pocket.

"youre not going to get it jinyoung." i reply sternly. he looks down annoyed but with a smirk on his face.

he looks up at me, the look in his eye more serious.

"im not taking no for an answer, you see your friends on the ground?" jinyoung steps aside as his bodyguards pick up the boys and an unconscious mark so they were standing. "they'll be in pain if you don't come with me willingly."

i look at the guys, jeno was looking at me with a 'dont do it' look. i take a deep breath and shake my head.
i look at jinyoung again.

"ill do it." i say. "ill go." he smiles as he walks closer. jeno then breaks free of the rope and removes the tape from his mouth.

"jani are you crazy?!" he yells. "you cant go for fucks sake!"

"aw, so sad!" he then looks back at his men. "throw them in the van."

"wait that's not part of the plan!" i yell as i try to run after them. jinyoung pulls me back and holds me by my shoulders.

"i said i wouldnt harm them, i never said i wouldn't take them too." he puts a bag over my head and knocks me out unconscious.

the ground is cold.
im bare foot with only a thin dress on.
where am i?
the room is empty and white.
theres no windows. no doors.
they mustve stopped the guys from using their strengths.

"nice to see you again jani," i turn around to see...me,
she looks like me, how is this possible?

"youre now alone, no one to save you." she says.

"no one was there to save me in the first place." i reply.

"not your boyfriends?"

"theyre my friends, plus, i would never let them save me and put them in danger."

"then why are they here?" she questions.

"jinyoung lied to me."

"speaking of jinyoung, whats this special thing that hes so obsessed with?" she says as she crouches next to me.
she touches my hair and pinches my cheeck.

"ouch! what the fuck are you doing?" she laughs as she stands back up.

"im observing you of course." she smiles.

"w-what?"

"observing."

"i heard you the first time, but why?" she smiles more widely and sits down on the floor.

"i need to know how you act, i need your instincts."

"youre not going to get the thing jinyoung wants, uhm, whats your name?"

"the names jackie," she replies "im surprised you didn't question why me and you are identical!"

"i already know, my dad has been obsessed with me ever since he found out about my 'powers'. hes been trying to make a new me for years"

"thats the thing i dont get, why is jinyoung so protective of your mind?"

"im smarter than a average human, smarter than einstein." i say. "ever since i was three i was able to solve huge puzzles and locks, etc."

"my dad took advantage of that and ive been a lab rat ever since."
