"Vhat do jou mean zhe allies are making zheir way to zhe border?!" The blonde German yelled into the phone, though not too loudly. There was a few seconds of muffled sounds from the receiver.
"Ich don't care if jou're out numbered," the German said harshly, "Push zhem back! If Ich have to come down there and save your azzes jou'll be put through Strafbataillon!"

With that the receiver was slammed down. The German man sighed in exasperation. He ran his fingers through his gelled hair causing strands to fall from there neat placement.

With the allies closing in at such a desperate time of the war, and his solders lack of motivation to win, thing were getting more than stressful.

Worse than that he couldn't be there with his troops. He had matters to attend to at home. And without him there, it seems this battle was all downhill.
"Scheiße!" he exclaimed loudly, slamming his hands down on his desk.

I loud cry echoed from the room next to his office. A cry that remained him the he had to stay home. There was no hesitation from him as he stood and rushed to the tiny life that made the cry.

He rushed to the (f/c) crib pushed against the wall. Looking down at the little crying infant he felt his chest tighten. He picked up the child with the utmost care. He held her close, gently yet firmly. He held her protectively, too afraid to let go at the risk of loosing the only happiness he had left.

"Hush mein libeling," he cooed softly, "its alright, vati's here"
The little infant began to quiet at hearing the familiar voice. The cries were reduced to soft whimpers.

"Ich must've woken jou up," the German cooed as he swayed with the baby pressed to his chest, "Es tut mir leid"

He swayed gently with the child, shushing her soft cries with sweet nothings in German. When the baby had fallen asleep again, he didn't want to put her down. Something about the little girl he held in his arms was a stress reliever.

He sighed, rubbing the baby's back soothingly. He sat down in a white wicker chair and relaxed his tense muscles.

With all the stress form the war, and him not being there to lead his people and having to take care of his precious (e/c) eyed baby. He was overly stressed.

"Mein liebe," he sighed planting a kiss in his head, "mein dearest, (y/n)"

Working on paperwork, yet again.

He has a stack of papers that need to be read, signed, and turned in by tomorrow. The blondes hands grew tired, and ached from the constant writing, and signing.

No matter how hard he worked, the pile of documents never seemed to end.

His hair was in a disarray, and he had dark bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. He was falling asleep, just dozing slightly. But he had to stay up.

He had to finish his work.

So much stress....

Finish this, do that, be on time...

So much to do and no time...

"Vati?" a soft voice cooed.
The man looked up from his papers to see the little girl standing it the doorway.
