Uncontrollable - Episode 29

Now, what if Sanem was a bit braver? How would the story go if she was still desperatly in love with him but  most of all a strong and proud woman at the same time.

Episode 29, Can finds out by Mina, that Sanem sold her perfume to Fabri. He first visits Fabri and passes on all the proof of fraud to the police so his nemesis is arrested and put away for good.

I hate the scene at the hut, not only is Can abusive but Sanem thinks he is entitled to act this way and feels sorry for him!? WTF!??! 

Sanem froze as soon as Emre told her Can knew. He hadn't called her so she figured he was enraged and fuming just like she had predicted.

She hopped into a cab and went straight to the hut, she knew he would be there. She saw his car as soon as she arrived and the light in the small house. She slowly approached and was greeted to a pretty unpleasant view of Polen sat on the sofa across from him, one hand on Can's knee. He looked up and saw Sanem, his eyes going dark in an instant.

Sanem looked at Polen, ''Polen, can you leave us please?''

Polen turned to Can, ''Can, do you want me to stay?''

Sanem couldn't believe it, ''I said leave us Polen!''

Both Can and his ex were surprised with Sanem's resolve, he nodded and Polen left, bitter.

Sanem turned to him, ''Can...''

C: ''what Sanem?!'' he interrupted, ''do I need to tell you why Polen was here?''

S: ''I wasn't going to ask but yes please go ahead.''

C: ''she came to offer me a job in the Balkans and I am considering it.''

S: ''why would you leave here?''

C: ''why? You're seriously asking me why? Because you betrayed me, you betrayed us! You knew the importance of your perfume to me; you knew I didn't want him to have it!'' he was shouting at her, both of them standing outside.

S: ''why did I have to do it? Have you thought about that? It was the only way to get you out of jail!''

C: ''no excuse, you have been hiding this from me for too long!''

S: ''why do you think I did?'' she asked with a sarcasm that angered him even more.

Can turned around, trying to calm down, he almost felt like he could hurt her. ''Sanem, you knew I would never support you doing this.''

S: ''yes Can, I knew you would lose it like you are right now, because I had gone against YOUR wishes despite the fact that there were no other solutions to get YOU out, despite the fact that YOU put yourself in jail!!'' She was breathing heavy, ''when will you start looking at your own mistakes and imperfections? You just spend your life rejecting those who love you because they are not perfect but nobody is perfect Can, nobody!'' tears were flowing down her cheeks, she had kept this inside for so long...

Can was immobile, he didn't see this conversation going this way at all and was slowly analysing her words.

C: ''I can't control the way I feel Sanem, to me you sold the one thing that meant us.''

S: ''my perfume Can? Really? I know it is important to you but surely there is more to me... to us than my scent.''

C: ''of course there is...'' he paused, rubbing his palm over his face, '' I'm confused...''

S: ''you're confused so you want to leave the second we hit a hurdle? You do understand Polen is trying to get back with you right?''

C: ''there is no chance of this Sanem!''

S: ''tell her then so she finally stays away from you!''

C: ''she's a friend Sanem!''

S: ''you say I am so pure but you are so naïve Can! You think she wants to be friend? Really, be honest!''

Can nodded in annoyance, he turned around, walked into the hut and sat down on the armchair.

Sanem calmed down and followed him in, standing in front of him, ''I didn't want to sell my perfume, this is a part of me Can... but yes I did it... for you... and for me, because I can't live without you.'' She let out a sob. ''if you want to leave Istanbul and leave us, go ahead... but don't blame it on me because I have done everything I could for us to be together...'' she turned around to walk away.

C: ''Sanem!'' He called her and she stepped back closer to him. ''I am so mad inside, so angry, it's eating me alive...'' she saw tears form in his eyes.

She kneeled down in front of him, ''I understand you are mad Can, and I am sorry I lied to you but I was scared... you get so angry... almost violent''

He lifted his head up, ''I would never hurt you!''

S: ''I know... but you can't react so violently, even with your words whenever someone does something that bothers you, this is just not how the world works. Whatever anger you have inside you need to tame and trust the people who love you.''

She saw him take a deep breath in and knew exactly what was on his mind, ''Can, your mom left you...'' he flinched, ''and it is horrible because she is the person that should love you the most, '' tears were gliding down his face, no one had ever voiced this truth out loud.

S: ''but this is her mistake and it is not your fault; you can't let it control you now that you can make your own decisions.''

C: ''Sanem...''he fell knees on the floor into her arms, quietly sobbing. She caressed his back and head giving him time to expulse all the sorrow he had kept inside for so long.

C: ''I love you, I'm so scared to lose you... it was easier to let go myself.''

Sanem smiled softly, her hand on his cheek, ''I love you and I am not going anywhere Can.'' She kissed his lips, tasting the tears; he smiled in her mouth picking her up and seating them both on the sofa. They stayed in each other's arms for a while, calming down... They still had a lot to talk about but whatever it was, they knew they would be here for one another and there was no need to escape.

Can explained what had happened at Fabri's office and how her scent was safe. They decided to forget about it and move forward.

Sanem had one thing to add though, ''Polen... she needs to go ok? I won't budge, she is after you and is being rude to me, I've had enough of people being rude to me!''

He giggled, ''fine I'll tell her I don't need a job and she should go back to hers.''

S: ''must! Must go back to hers!!''

He kissed her neck, ''I love you. I'm sorry Sanem, I promise you I will never lose it on you any more.''

S: ''I'll help you ok? It's only fair, I am pretty annoying at times!''

They laughed, squeezing each other tight.
