Entry #5: If you don't want to be betrayed anymore. All you have to do is to doubt the person you believed in the most.
"Glaze. Baba na kakain na daw sabi ni mom." Ika ni Stacey na may himig ng irittasyon habang kinakatok ang pintuan niya.
"I've already eaten ate but please do tell mom to leave me some dessert." Sagot niya rito.
"Tss. Fine!"
Glaze sighed and hugged her pillow.
They're so close when they were kids. More like inseparable. She loves her so much that she's her idol and Stacy is so caring to her. They walk hand to hand wherever they go. They like watering and planting flowers with the help of their mom. Those are the happy moments that's hard to forget.
She looked at the large flower pot beside her window. Iris. That's her sister's favorite flower and she's been growing it a year and a half, it's really hard to grow it and needs a lot of patience. She's planning to give the flowers to her sister when it blooms.
Yes, she hate and loathe her sister but still there's a tiny bit of care that she feels towards her because she's still her family.
She sighed. Family huh? Even family betrays their own too. How many times did she experience betrayal? She was betrayed by her sister for a couple of times. She met a lot of friends before, thought they're real but in the end they're just all fakes. She was betrayed by her first boyfriend too. That's why she started to keep an eye to everyone who tries to get close to her. She doesn't trust easily unlike before. She expect the things that are least to expect towards a person. She learned how to build a wall around her to keep out those bad people. Sometimes when she traveled back to past and remembered those betrayal events, she can't help but to cringe to herself dahil sa katangahan niya. She's so naive and idiot before but now she's different.
But thankfully she met Maeve, Jiroh and Walter. They are her good and trusted friend specially Maeve. She treasured them, they are her own nakama.
And Clay, well that she can't express how thankful she is to have him too as her ally. Even though they lost communication for quite a long time she still comfortable when she's with him just like the old times. She actually enjoys her company, he's funny and mostly sunod sa layaw niya ang binata.
"Come in."
Just like her Ice likes to watch animé too but she's trying to limit him because he's too young for it.
"Ate can I sleep beside you?" He asked with his sleepy voice.
"Oho? Thought you're a big boy na? I remember you saying it last week." Pang-aasar niya rito.
"No. Maybe you misheard it. You need to use cotton buds ate." he said and denying his statement before.
"Yeah whatever. Just close the door." She said.
"Sing me a song."
"What song do you want?"
"Mmm. The one that you always humming. I think it's a Spanish song."
