Hey guys I'm back! Yea! I've been reading your comments and it seems like a lot of you want a sequel to BTFCG. I'm working on it but it's coming slow. So for now I'm going to write this story while the other half of my mind is thinking up idea. I hope you enjoy this sorta sequel :)
(Ivory Talent)
I stood on the edge of the only cliff in Claremont, Ohio. The tides from the lake below crashed against the rock, sending little flecks of water into the air. I decided this would be the last thing I'd see before I died. The waves of Lake Clear rippling below. It wasn't much but it was something. Every time I saw this action it reminded me vaguely of the scene in New Moon. When Bella goes cliff jumping and nearly drowns. It's kinda like that only there's no Jacob or Edward to save me.
I took in a deep breath of the fresh air. It filled my lungs and gave me an almost weightless feeling. This was it. The time was now.
I took a step closer to the edge. Loose pebbles fell from the cut off and rushed the water below.
With this height I'll be gone the moment I hit the water. No pain. No suffering. Just the feeling of the wind in my hair and then darkness. This is what I wanted. To end it all.
I was sure to be found not long after. Teens party up here all the time. One is sure to spot me. Not that I care. It's not like anyone's going to miss me anyway.
I took another step forward. My feet centimeters from slipping off the edge.
This is it Ivory. DO IT NOW!
Taking one last step, I felt the ground escape from under me. Happiness filled my body. The knowing that the pain was finally over relaxed my tensed muscles. But it only lasted for a second.
Something soft and warm caught my arm and gripped tightly. I let out a hiss of pain when my body swung back and hit the side of the ledge. Millions rocks dug into my skin and broke the flesh.
My eyes snapped open when I realized I had stopped falling.
NO NO NO! What happened?! Why am I still alive?
Looking up I saw brunette hair and thick glasses that stopped me from achieving my freedom.
Alistair Bennett.
I knew him from school. Well as much as you can know someone you haven't talked to in years. He's the school geek or just someone who wears glasses and doesn't have any friends. For a short period of time we were actually friends. It was brief and pointless. Just like every other 'friendship' I've had.
I blinked twice and realized his mouth was moving.
"What the hell are you doing?! Are you trying to get yourself killed?" He screamed.
I stared at him blankly. My brain wasn't registering his words. All I could do was just hang there and watch his mouth move.
When I didn't reply to anything he said he let out a groan and grabbed my arm with both hands and started to pull. It surprised me how fast he got me back on top the cliff. From what I could tell he wasn't strong. His arms only showing slight signs of muscle. If that was true how did he lift me up that easily?
When I was on top the cliff once again my brain started to catch up.
Alistair. He just saved me. No, he didn't save me. He ruined me. I wanted this. I wanted to fall. I was so close to the end and he brought me back to earth. This guy! Who does he think he is? Why is he even here? It's 1pm on a Thursday. He's suppose to be in school with everyone else.
Anger coursed through my veins at the boy who sat in front of me panting. I couldn't believe him. The nerve he had to show up here and keep me in this hell known as Claremont.
