Chapter 1- Falling

2 weeks earlier:

I walk into school.

First time in 3 months.

9th grade.

I'd honestly never thought this day would come, I go to a 7-12 school, so its not like new place new people.

I've just developed a sudden hate for every person that has ever walked in my school.

I walk into the door, and everyone is looking at me.

Ew..

I walk into the lobby, searching for my red headed friend, Kaylee Rose, and my tall skyscraper friend, Shaylee. I know what your thinking, Kaylee Rose and Shaylee, how scripted, but it wasn't planned this way it just, happened.

Me, being 5'2, are used to being the shortest one in the crowd, but compared to Shaylee, everyone is short. You'd think, how is someone that tall ever going to find somebody taller than them to date? Well, lucky for her, she's dating the tallest guy in school, and yes, he is a basketball player. They've been together for 7 months now, and everyone knows not to fuck with their relationship.

Kaylee Rose is... Quite a hit with guys. If that's what you'd like to say. She has dated 4 guys in 7 months, being with each one for either 1 week or 1 1/2 weeks. She's wanted by every guy. And I'm jealous.

Me, I'm not too lucky with guys. If I find someone, I don't stay with them for long. And I rarely find someone. So I'm just the single one in the group!

"Ana!" I hear in the crowd of people. I instantly know it's Kaylee.

"Hey guys!" I finally spot Kaylee, Shaylee, and Shaylee's boyfriend standing in the back of the lobby. I rush over, getting out of the mess.

Sooner or later, the bell rings.

I'm walking to class, navigating through the crowd, and out of nowhere, some ridiculous kid bumps into me, and I drop everything I have!

Reaching down to pick it up, I look up to see a familiar face looking down at me, just staring.
