"Is this okay for you?" I ask Niall loudly as he steps into my room. He stands there in white suit and a fake gold sash across his chest. I'll admit it, he looked hot.

"You look very pretty, my dear," he says.

I stood across from him in a white teacup dress with a matching gold sash around my waist. When the two of us went to the costume store last week, the woman working there thought I looked like the actually Cinderella. I didn't though. All of the white made my blonde hair look weird.

"I'm not your dear," I snap. He moves across the room and puts his had on my waist, tracing his fingers down. I slap his arm away and back up. By now, I seem like a really moody, constantly annoyed person. But when you live with a killer you're not gonna be all glitter and rainbows.

"Anyway," he sighs. "Ready to go?"

I shrug and pull on my black Vans. He walks out of the room with me and down the stairs. In the hallway by the door was Maura. She smiles at us proudly, like we'd just won the Olympics or something.

"You both look amazing!" she says excitedly. I smile at her nicely and stop in front of her. She held a digital camera in her hands. "Let me take a picture and then you can leave."

Niall nods and puts an arm around my waist. I wince when he touches me but smile anyway. The camera flashes twice and Maura turns it off. Andrew walks in and smiles at me politely.

"Oh, I'm going out to a campus party and I'm crashing at a friend's house," he announces. Maura nods and says,

"Your father and I are also going to a party. We'll be back probably in th morning."

She chuckles and I smile before turning toward the door. I open it and walk in front of Niall. I hear him take out the car keys. It beeps and I climb into the passenger seat. It brought back terrible memories of Angus and that night. As Niall pulls out of the driveway I remember something.

When we were driving to the forest to bury Angus, I'd had my phone. And I recorded Niall. I'd asked why killed Angus, and he said why, confirming he was a murderer. I once again felt proud of myself. At least until I remembered I was sitting next to the murderer.

I realize he was driving down a different road than the one to school, where the party was.

"Where are going?" I ask as calmly as possible.

"Mollie's house. She's having a party herself," he answers. A flood of relief rushes through me. Mollie was a nce person. Over the past few weeks we'd gotten closer. I wouldn't consider us close friends, but I was pretty sure she wasn't crazy.

After a couple more minutes of silence Niall ruins it.

"I'll make you a deal," he says. I continue to look out the window, but listen. And I slide my phone out, recording already. "You stop making little, negative comments about how I killed Angus, and I'll stop touching you."

"Fine," I mutter, hitting the record button. Then I slide it back into the dress pocket. Just then we pull into the driveway of a smaller-looking house. He parks and climbs out quickly. I do the same and walk next to him to the front door.

"He parents aren't home, but don't suggest a threesome," Niall chuckles.

"I wasn't," I chuckle as he rings the doorbell. "I was gonna suggest you go fuck yourself."
