Oma was drowning.

She could feel it.

She startled awake and found herself buried under Asher who was sleeping peacefully.

The events of the day before quickly replayed in her memory.

"Asshole." She muttered with a smile. She could feel something hard on her stomach. She managed a look at him still above her. God, he was cute. But he was breathing down on her and his morning breath wasn't cute at all.

With all the strength she could muster, she pushed him aside and stretched. His body moved a little but he didn't wake up. She was staring at him now, in his sleepy state.

Her boyfriend's mouth was slightly ajar and his left hand covered his matted curls. His chin was slightly darker, indicating new growth which he never left to sprout for certain reasons. His topless chest however was a mass of hair that trailed down to his pyjamas that held something hard underneath.

She watched him sleep, saw how his chest moved up and down. Her hand slowly snaked it's way up and rubbed. He made a sound but didn't open his eyes. Her hand went up and down, enjoying the feel of his hair on her skin.
She was usually irritated by this before now but she found herself allured to it. Her fingers travelled North, landing on his chin and she stroked his lips.

Maybe it was because he looked vulnerable asleep. Maybe it was the way the morning light shone in the room and gave it a warm glow. Or maybe it was just him. But at that moment, she knew something.

She was in love with Asher.

She drew closer and kissed him on the lips.

When he smiled and held her tightly to him, she realized he hadn't been asleep...

"What's making you so happy today?" Obi asked. Her aura had rubbed off on him and he was equally grinning like an idiot.

"Nothing." She said, blushing. "I woke up happy this morning. Is that a bad thing?"

"No. I just like this side of you. It's fun. Whatever it is that's making you happy, keep it going." He said, just as their first lecturer walked in.

She tried her best to pay apt attention but her mind kept drifting off. Asher. She couldn't wait to see him again!

She remembered the things they had done and imagined the things they hadn't. They'd only kissed but there was more where that came from...

"Are you listening?" Obi asked, snapping her from her reverie.

She sighed. "Not really. You could summarize it later for me?" She asked him.

He smiled shyly. "Sure." Obi was back.

From the corner of her eye she saw Nathi looking at her. Odd she hadn't noticed her since.

Suddenly, her phone beeped. A text message.

Nathi: We need to talk.

She glanced back up, but Nathi was no longer looking at her.

Sooner rather than later, classes were over. Obi was huddled next to Oma, frantically explaining what they'd learned hours ago. Luckily, she wasn't daydreaming anymore so her mind was open to what he taught.
When they were done, it was a little after three.

"Thanks so much for the lessons." Oma said getting up. "See you tomorrow."

"Wait!" He practically dragged her back onto the seat. "Sorry. Are you...is there something you're doing right after now?"
