Ira's jaw dropped. "No. Way. That explains so much!"Mother Nature smiled. "Sit. Please."
She swished her hand and a chair moved to Ira. Ira sat, her eyes wide.
"This is all too much to take in at once. I know," Mother Nature sighed. "I'm just so glad you're alive."
Ira was about to speak, when the door to the throne room swung open. A servant flew in, pale and nervous, fiddling with his tie. He had majestic black laced wings, with a silver lining.
"Your majesty," the servant bowed respectively, then locked eyes with Mother Nature. His eyes flashed with worries, with memories, glassy with a past Ira had never known. Mother Nature's smile turned into a worried frown.
"Send the best troops, just like last time," She looked towards Ira. "We need to keep her safe."
Keep me safe? Ira thought. What was going on?
The servant nodded and flew through the doors, which shut behind him.
"What's going on?" Ira asked Mother Nature, whose face was wrinkled with worry. Mother Nature glanced towards her four children; Nick, Jane, Samantha, Blake.
"He's here," Mother Nature bellowed. "You four know what to do?"
They nodded in unison, and Jane grabbed Ira's hand. She murmured, "Earthalina!"
All of a sudden, she began to transform. From the blond-haired girl with a cute green floral jumpsuit, her clothes transformed into a beautiful floral dress. A flower headband grew on her head, and her ring flashed with magic. She looked like a miniature version of Mother Nature.
Jane pulled Ira outside through the doors, with her siblings behind her. They approached a wall, made of pure marble, shining a beautiful white, so clean Ira could see her reflection in it.
"Ok," Ira thrust her hand away from Jane's. "Can someone explain to me what's going on?"
"You are in danger," Nick answered, walking up to the wall.
"Great. That explains so much."
"I'm serious," Nick skimmed the wall and stopped at a little crack. He opened the crack, to reveal a keypad. He punched in some numbers; 92740
The wall started to split in half slowly. Finally, after a puff of smoke, they were in a room. The walls were made of gold, shiny and new. It was the size of the throne room, which was really big. There was a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, even a bathroom...just in that one room. The floor was made of carpet, soft and fluffy, white and brand new.
"What...." Ira gazed around in awe.
"This is where you will stay...for now." Samantha glanced over to me, her bright, crystal-clear eyes glazed with worry and struggling with the past memories. But that worry changed to cruelty as she added, "You're way too weak to protect yourself."
Blake, whose was to the right of her, nodded. "No offense, but she's right. Now make yourself comfortable."
And just like that, they darted out of the room, leaving Ira to wonder, What was going on?
--------------------------------------------------------------
After what seemed like hours, Nick, Samantha, Blake, and Jane barged into the room. Ira was sitting on the satin couch, munching on a packet of Oreo's and watching The Secret Key on T.V. She had changed into comfy clothes; lilac sweatpants, and a green-and-white striped t-shirt. She had a lilac headband on, and her hair was in a high pony, tied up with a green rubber band.
When she saw her siblings, who looked tired and were panting and covered in sweat, she placed the Oreo's next to her and stood up. "Where were you guys?"
Jane sighed. "Nowhere..."
"Ira, it's time for you to go home," Nick said, wiping sweat from his forehead.
"What!?" Ira turned off the T.V. and stared at her new siblings. "But I want to explore! It's not every day you're transported to a magical world."
"Yes, true," Blake said, "But your life in the real world would be disrupted. You still have school and everything. Look at us! You met us in the real world. We also have our own lives outside of this world."
"Besides," Nick added, "Your parents are waiting. Very little time has passed from the real world since it has only been half an hour. You will appear in the same room you left from."
Ira's eyes widened. "It's only been half an hour!? Wow, time travels really slow here."
Jane nodded. "True. Until next time, sister. And, please, do not expose our secret."
Samantha murmured, "Wait until she screws that up."
Samantha waved her hand, and swirls of blue magic engulfed the room and levitated Ira off the floor. And, in a couple of seconds, she was gone.
