Mermaid in Beacon Hills

     We've been driving for two hours now and the voices in my head keep getting louder and louder. Closing my eyes my hands fall against my ears trying to get the voices to stop. Their guttural sounds evade my mind as their cries bring tears to my eyes. "We're almost there okay, just ten more miles." Stiles says causing the girl to nod as the voices suddenly stop. Looking at stiles she turns her head to see the ocean come into view causing her to scream a loud STOP !! Doing so Stiles pulls over onto the side of the road as he gives her an incredulous look. "Why ?!" He shouts at her as she turns. "We're here." She replies softly getting out. Walking to the edge she sees the bottom with jagged rocks and ocean swells hitting against the side.

"Here ? Right here ? Over a cliff is where you need to go ?" Stiles asks sarcastically as Victoria turns to him while nodding. Stiles hides his Jeep better and grabs their things before she stops him. "We can drive to my aunts house just up the road and come back, I have a key." She says as they both get back into the Jeep and head down the road. Pulling up to the house it's gated and Stiles looks to her. "The passcode is 1294." She says as he pushes in the code the gate opening. "My aunt is away in Africa on a mission trip, she won't be home for two weeks." She says as her phone begins to ring. Allison's name flashes against the screen before she answers. "Hey Alli Cat." She replies as she helps Stiles out with getting the bags. "Hey Victoria I was just wondering what your doing if you wanted to come over ?" Glancing at Stiles who looks at her she opens her mouth to answer. "I'm not exactly in Beacon Hills right now, I'm at the beach." She replies as Allison sighs sadly from the other end of the phone. "When will you be back ?" She asks next which causes Victoria to smile. "I'll be back in three days alright, I'll see you then." She replies as Allison nods before telling her bye and hanging up. Walking up to the front door she pushes the key in and unlocks the door, stepping inside allowing stiles to enter after her. "Wow this is huge." Stiles says as the girl nods as she has him follow him to the room. "Here set your bags here I'll be right back." Victoria replies before heading to the study. Opening the door Victoria looks around and finds a wall full of books. Looking around she spots books from all over the world, one catching her eye. It's tittle was Mermaids and Victoria goes to slip it out when a door opens next to her. "Stiles !" She calls as the boy races inside. "What ? What is it ?!" He asks before he follows her line of sight. "Let me grab my flashlight." He says before racing back out clumsily grabbing his flashlight before returning to her side. Looking at each other the walk in allowing the door to shut behind them. Walking down the cave steps they see it open up to a wide cavern filled with lights and treasures from around the world. "Okay what is going on ?" Victoria whispers to herself as she walks around. Following another door with Stiles right behind her she sees a pool. "It's a moon pool." She replies while looking at it. Looking up, the night sky can be seen. Turning back to stiles she smiles softly at him. "What ?" He asks as she turns back around and dives into the pool. "Victoria !" Stiles shouts flashing the light over the rippling water before Victoria emerges scaring him half to death. "It's a tunnel it must lead somewhere." Victoria says as she sinks back underwater leaving stiles to his own devices as he goes back out into the main cavern and looks around in wonder. Twenty minutes pass and he begins to worry when he hears a splash from the other cavern. Quickly making his way back to the moon pool he sees Victoria with a blank look that turns into a smile. "Wow it was amazing all the fish and coral reefs, wow." She says as she seats herself against a rock slab, letting her tail float as she swishes it around. Stiles slowly seats himself next to her crossing his legs as he does. 

"So what now ?" He questions as the girl looks at him. "It was a pod of mermaids, from the Pacofic Ocean, they lost one of their own from fisherman who killed her and they were singing sadly that's why I heard it from beacon hills." She replies as she hoists herself out of the water. Stiles stands as she dries herself, standing as well. "Come on then, you hungry ?" She asks as she takes his hand lightly and pulls him back up the steps, into her aunts study. Walking to the kitchen she let's Stiles hand go as she looks through the pantry finding food she turns to Stiles. "What are you in the mood for sandwiches or grilled cheese sandwiches ?" She asks as he asks for a grilled cheese one. Quickly getting to work she makes the food handing it to stiles along with a coke before she sits beside him at the table as they eat in silence. "The next full moon is in three weeks." Stiles says as Victoria looks up at him. "Not only do I have to worry about Scott now you as well, I don't want you to end up hurting yourself." He says as she smiles at him. "I've experienced the moons pull and sometimes I let it consume me, but if I have enough will power and control, it can't get to me." She replies as he nods. "Also Stiles you worrying about everyone isn't good for your health."  Victoria says softly as she grabs her trash throwing it away before turning to stiles. "Now do you like Star Wars because my aunt has every movie ?" She asks and his eyes widen as some grilled cheese slowly falls from his mouth causing her to giggle. "Marry Me." He whispers looking at her and she laughs taking his trash and wiping his mouth with a napkin. "Yes." She whispers jokingly while turning her back to stiles. Turning around Stiles was gone and she calls out for him. Walking down the hall she sees him changing and she steps in as he puts on some sweat pants and a Star Wars shirt which causes her to laugh out loud. "Your so adorable." She giggles as Stiles puts on a goofy smile before hopping into the bed as Victoria puts on the first Star Wars movie. Closing the curtains she grabs some of Stiles clothes before changing in front of him as he tries not to watch. Letting her hair fall from her bun she slides into bed with stiles as the movie begins to play.
