Jimin returned home and called the other two right away. They promised to come as soon as the bakery closed and hung up.
Jimin threw himself into putting away the clothes he wore. He wanted them to see the flowers, because in a twisted sense it looked beautiful. He looked beautiful, scarred by the thorns and yellow flowers. Droplets of dried and fresh blood were on his back and he had to go to the bathroom to put some water in his eyes because a flower was trying to come out.
"Not yet, wait a lil," he whispered to the flower which seemed to hear and shrank back a few.
He cried, he cried red, bloody tears that turned his skin into a horror movie, a scene that seemed so sick, so twisted, so beautiful. He was so in love it was killing him.
He washed his face and got rid of all the blood you could see. He put away the last few belongings he wanted to take with him and then sat down in what will soon be someone else's apartment.
He watched all the dust flying through the air, he counted the cracks on the ceiling, he breathed in the slightly bad air and listened to all the sounds. Soon he won't remember any of this.
He wanted to lay down but a flower was starting to bloom right over his heart and however he laid down, he'd be in pain.
He got up quickly after remembering that behind his tv, was a small hole, big enough for a ring he hid there. Their ring. His bestfriend's ring. One third of the set they bought. God, he missed them.
The ring sat snugly on his ring finger and he distractedly twisted it around as he waited for his hyungs to arrive.
Maybe he should clean a little? No, he can't move that much, it would hurt too much.
He wanted to fall asleep, his eyes were already droppy, but he had to wait for them. No point in falling asleep if he had to wake up in ten minutes.
Not more than fifteen minutes later, the doorbell rang and Jimin yelled: "Come in!"
The older of the two opened the door and took of his shoes. He closed the door behind Hoseok and went to sit in living room space where Jimin was still twisting the ring on his finger.
Patiently, waited the two for Jimin to start talking. Jimin stood up and took off his shirt.
Seokjin choked on a gasp and Hoseok quickly covered his mouth to not sob. Jimin's back, full of yellow flowers, different species, different kinds. All of them were yellow, some twisted and painted with blood while others were clean and had no thorns.
A new one was coming out of Jimin's skin and both watched in horror as the flower punctured his skin, a big flower at that. It was already in full bloom, strong and bloody. It created a decent hole in Jimin's skin that healed up right away but still let out a lot of blood. Jimin hissed when a thorn came out amd Hoseol let a sob out.
Seokjin's face was all wet already and Hoseok was no better.
The flower all seemed to greet the latest one, they leaned towards it than moved back to the place they were before and Jimin's back twitched. It hurt a lot. He felt the flowers around his ribs.
He turned around and showed the flower on his heart, the least painful one yet the most dangerous one. One strong twist and he'd fall to the floor, dead. The flower gently twisted as if it was breathing and settled back.
Hoseok lifted his shaking hand and touched it. The flower twisted more and Jimin convulsed, pushed his hand away: "Sorry, hyung, the flower doesn't like anyone else."
Hoseok nodded and sat down. Seokjin kissed the right side where the flower was and sat down.
"I'm leaving guys. I want to move on, and I want to forget." Straightforward and short. The best way probably.
Seokjin was already nodding as if he could read minds and Hoseok nodded as well though he looked sick.
Jimin smiled and sat down as well, between them, taking their hands and kissing each one.
"Be happy, okay? I told him I'll be going to a school for two years but I'm not coming back. Soften the blow, will you? Do you think Taehyung and Jeongguk would appreciate if I visited them? And Namjoon, yeah, I'll go visit Namjoon as well."
They were all crying, though not soundly. They both promised to not say a thing about what the real reason was.
Jimin nodded and first hugged Seokjin, hugged him tight, though painfully for Jimin and probably not for Seokjin. Then he hugged Hoseok, whispered an "I love you" into his ear like he did to Seokjin and then let go.
He was smiling with tears rolling down his cheeks as they walked out.
