Avenging Caroline

Back at Nia's house
I return home, I found Maria and greeted her, "Hey Maria! Sorry I was out later than I expected, things got a little crazy!" I said to her, all she did was looked at me for a moment, it was kinda creepy to be honest, "so, um, mom? Where is she?" I asked, "asleep" she answered it with one word, "um... ok... I'll head to my room for now!" I said and headed to my room, that was weird, was she pissed about me being later than usual? I entered my room and got straight onto my computer. I then researched the death of Caroline.

The next day
From what I learned, police found Caroline in her bed dead, she was holding a cord that was wrapped around her neck, so they just label it off as a suicide! But I know better!
It was a weekday, so I had enough time, I headed toward where Caroline used to live, the house is now condemned, so I don't have to worry about somebody taking residence there, I enter the old broken down house, [clairvoyance] my powers lead me upstairs, and into a certain room, my powers lead me to the closet, I noticed that in one corner, there's seems to be some wall paper that was a different color, so I ripped it off, there was a hole in the wall, and in the hole was a book, "score" I said to my back as I retrieved the dusty book, inside was a note that said...

Donna and I have fought over the same boy for months, and every day she has been acting more and more violent, I fear she might do something out of malice, if I somehow die, please know that it may not be an accident, it will not be suicide, but murder, murder that may have been committed by my sister Danna, please investigate my sister if you see this note

Shit, Caroline was a girl who was ready for anything, I take the note and the book and headed down stairs, I was in the living room when I accidentally dropped the book. I was about to pick it up when some man came out of nowhere and picked it up himself, "what is this?" he asked, he was wearing very ragged clothes, which makes me believe he might be homeless, "um? Excuse me, my I please have that back? It's kinda important" I said trying to be polite, he looks at me and says "oh? Just how important?" he said, he was starting to creep me out, but I continue to try to be polite, "it's really important, so could I have it back?" I said, "hm? And what are you willing to do for it?" he said, I don't like where this is going, "i-it depends?" I asked, he then smiles and says "will you strip naked for me(¬‿¬)?"...

Yay!! I got the book back\ (•◡•) /! I left the creepy place. (Creepy man: it hurtsT＿T)
I headed to the police department and showed them the evidence I had. This is starting to feel familiar. They were able to match the handwriting from both the note and the book, they then decided to take Danna into custody for questioning. From what I know, Danna married David and that they now live together with a child.
After some questioning, Danna finally confessed to the murder of her sister, she was then sentenced to life in imprisonment. both her husband, and her child heard the confession, and they were shocked. I noticed that the son was looking at me with a look of malice.
I left the police department after the confession, but suddenly, Danna's son came chasing after me, "Why!?" he asked in rage, "what?" I said, "why did you have to stick your nose where it didn't belong!! We were happy until you came along, but now!! Nothing will be the same!" is he blaming me, he was crying. "It would have been better if we lived in ignorance, she's not a bad woman! She just made a bad choice! Maybe she regretted it all these years! Did you ever think about that!" he said, "it wouldn't matter if she regretted it, she must be punished for her crimes, she took her sister life! And that's what matters" he began to cry some more. All of the sudden, he punches me in the face! "JACK!!" said the father as he ran over and grabs his son "how dare you put your hands on a woman!! I've raised you better than this!" the father yelled, but he only continued to try to attack me, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!" he said over and over, I stand up and said "look, I'm sorry! I'm sorry I made you feel this way, but I wouldn't inflict pain on others without knowing that very pain myself" suddenly, he stopped flailing his arms at me, "I know what it's like, for your parent to do something awful an to be arrested for it, it makes you angry, doesn't it, I am not at fault here, if you want to be angry at someone, be angry at your mother, she's the one who sinned, and now she's paying for it" I said, suddenly he got angry at me again, "so what?! Because your hurting, you think it's ok to hurt others?" he yelled, "take it as you like, but I was doing what was right" I don't care if this boy won't forgive me, so I walked away.

Maria's POV
I followed Nia again, it seems like she found some evidence to a crime, so she took it to the police and it seems as if someone was arrested. I... I don't know what to do... Nia, she's the one behind Georges arrest, she's the one that got in the way of my duty, the only thing that has kept me alive for so long, I don't know what to do. Perhaps I should tell George.

Back at the prison at night
It's dark, so I should be able to slip past the guards, I made it to George window, I look thru the window and called for George, "sir? Are you awake?" I asked, George comes into my view, "Maria? What are you doing here?" he said, "sir, I... I found out who is responsible for this" I said, George pirks up to my news, "well? Who is it?" he said in a sorta of yelling whisper, I hesitated for a moment, "Maria? Who is it?" he asked. I finally answer, "um... I-It's... Nia... sir" I said slowly, as if I had to force the words to come out. George's expression changed, he was shocked, "a-are you sure?" he said, as if he doesn't want to believe it, "yes sir, I heard Nia talking to her friends about it... she even found some evidence to another crime, she seemed proud of herself for it, I believe it was her" George remained quiet, he goes over to her bed, and sits down, he places his hands on his head, after a while, he finally says "kill her", I felt my heart drop, "b-but s-sir, S-she's your d-daughter, she's-" "a traitor" he said interrupting my shaking voice, "Maria, think about it, she's the one who put me in here, she's the one that ruined Aqualis Corps, she's the one that ruined everything, she even got in the way of your duty" he said, "Nia betrayed not only me or the company, she betrayed her own family, she tore us apart, Maria, if my daughter doesn't regret what she's done to me, then end her, do you understand?" he said... I don't want to, but... "Y-Yes sir" he was right, Nia is a traitor, and traitors must die.
