Lauren's Sins

After breakfast, I make my way to the bus stop. On my way, I see Lauren clinging onto a man, she seemed to be flirting with him, and it's working. He isn't her boyfriend, He's just got lucky enough to catch Lauren's attention, either that, or he paid her, either way, I won't tell her how to live her life, but that doesn't mean I don't worry about her, but she made this choice, and she was warned about the consequences, so I just have to hope she changes her mind, but if life comes back to bite her in the ass, I'll be there to help her with her problems, as far as I understand, her and her parents are not on good terms, by that I mean they kicked her out, she had to live with me for awhile until she found a place to live on her own. She is, however, not a neat person, I always come over inspire her to clean up her crap, we would end up cleaning up her house together. Sometimes, I would spend nights there to keep her from getting lonely, although, she usually has a boy or two to help with that. Look, she may be making poor life choices, but she's still my friend, I've tried to warn her and stop her from doing what she does, but now all I can do is wait for the consequences to meet her in the end, and when that happens, I'll be there to help her as much as I can.
I call out to Lauren, and she turns around and smiles at me, she then looks at the guy and says "I have to go, see you after school" the guy seemed disappointed, but left anyway. I wanted to give him the stink eye, make sure he doesn't hurt Lauren, but I don't think Lauren would appreciate that. I catch up to Lauren and ask her "he's not that good looking, so I'm guessing he paid you", Lauren takes out a shit ton of cash and said "I have [$(50)$] now, want me to buy you something?" she asks me "nah, I'm good" I answer politely, I don't want your prostitution money. We both walk to the bus stop together and stop at the bus, "mom visited me yesterday" Lauren said to me, "seriously? How did that turn out?" I asked nervously, as I said, Lauren isn't on good terms with her parents, "better than you expected, she didn't say much about how I'm living my life, she just did some cleaning and lectured me about using protection, she then gave me some lunch and left" Lauren said to me, Lauren's mother will periodically visit, not as often as she should, and when she does, it's always the same, they hardly speak and when they do, it's one conflict or another, despite this, Lauren's mother still loves her very much and is constantly worried about her, she even asked me to help Lauren with her living situations and asked if I will keep being her friend, I would've done all of this even if she said nothing.
We arrive arrive at the bus stop, where Rose was waiting for us, well, mostly for Lauren, Rose is another "Girlfriend for rent", except I'm not sure I like her very much, Lauren seems to consider her a friend, but I feel like it might be her fault that Lauren is the way she is, but it is also entirely possible that they just relate on the subject and get along because of it. It's funny how unfunny I find these situation, in my last life, I used to make jokes about prostitutes all the time, but now whenever I think about those jokes, I just don't find them funny at all anymore. I'm even ashamed of the fact that I used to "rent" them myself a few times in my past life.
"He~ey, Lauren(☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞!! And, um, Niaಠ_ಠ" she said, trailing off while looking at me. She gets close to Laurens ear and whisper, "why won't you just ditch this bitch already" hahaha... fuck you too, bitch. Lauren gets close to her ear next "she's nice to me, and we've been friends for a long time, so please try to get along with her" Lauren whispered in my defence. The bus finally arrives, Rose is the first to get on, I was about to get on when Lauren stopped me to say to me, "can you please try to get along with her too?" she asked me, as if she knew I could her what they were whispering. We both get on the bus. The ride is usual, me and Rose give each other nasty looks whenever Lauren isn't looking, and when Lauren does look, we pretend that we aren't even looking at each other. The only reason why I put up with this bitch is for Lauren's sake.
We arrive to school. me, Lauren, and that hell whore get off the bus together. [Telekinesis] suddenly, Rose trips over an invisible force, "Gah!!" she screams as she makes contact with the pavement, I take joy in tormenting her in secret, Rose is a Bitch, but so is karma, "Rose!?" Lauren screamed she tried to help her get up only to realise she has a nose bleed and a scraped knee, ok, I didn't mean for that.
Both me and Lauren helped Rose into the nurses office, Lauren got Rose a glass of water, if anyone calls Lauren a bitch or a whore, they get my fist in their face, Lauren doesn't have a good reputation in the school, but what people don't see is how she treats her friends, even if said friend is a total bitch. The nurse seemed to be out, so the three of us just waited for her, I got Rose some tissues to plug up the bleeding, perhaps I'm also to good for my own, either that, or because my parents from my past life taught me to treat a woman well, I guess I still do in my second life, even if I hate her, I sure as hell didn't mean to hurt her this badly, I just wanted to see her trip, get up and be embarrassed about it... I guess I'm just being protective of Lauren. I will try to get along with her, but if she hurts Lauren, or if she tries to make Lauren make even worst choices then she's already making, then I'm dropping that bitch▄︻̷̿┻̿═━一! And I have the power to do it!!
Speaking of power, I've discovered that I have a lot of abilities, I've mainly used them for everyday life, but I've manage to hide them by claiming to be a magician, so if someone catches me lifting a coach of the floor, and ask how I did it, I'm going to answer by saying "I'm a magician", I've even learned some legit magic tricks, it's easy when you have real paranormal abilities to back you up, world's greatest magician, right here.
"Why does this always happen to me(ಥ﹏ಥ)?" Rose asks, I could answer that, but I won't(¬‿¬). "I'm not sure, Maybe your just clumsy?" Lauren answers, yeah, let's go with that. I'll only respect a woman when she's not a total bitch who's influencing my friend to make poor choices. The Nurse eventually arrived.
In class, I continue to think about Rose, I want her to get lost, I could use my powers, but I don't really want to hurt her (unless she convinces Lauren to steal or to do drugs!), and I don't want to mind control her either, (yeah, I can do that, but I don't like it, the last time I did it was to keep my dad away from the death penalty, but I felt evil doing it), the Problem is that Lauren is too good of a friend, she's the type of friend that will stay loyal to you no matter what you did or said. "Miss Aqualis!! The answer?!" I snapped out of my thoughts to realize that the teacher was trying to get my attention, she asked me for an answer but I was too distracted to hear, "OH!! THE ANSWER IS THE SQUARE ROOT OF 34" I said loud and fast, trying to make an answer despite not knowing the question, the teacher looks at me for a second before saying "this is history, not math"...﴾͡๏̯͡๏﴿ O'RLY? A couple of students giggle at me. I let out a few giggles myself to try to make the situation less awkward, "sorry Mrs Webber, I was distracted about something, I'm listening now"
Lunch time, I always eat with Lauren, and as usual, I find her talking to a guy while waiting to get her lunch, it was the same asshole from this morning, "no, I won't go to the back of the school with you. like I said, wait till after school, you can come over my house then, ok" he accepts her answer and leaves, she waves at me with a smile, I go to her, we both get our lunches, and then sit down at a table, then Rose sat down next to Lauren. At first, we were talking about mundane things, like our day so far, the teachers, and other simple things. But then Rose asks "Lauren, what is up with that guy? He's been bothering you all day", Lauren looks in the general direction to where the guy was, and finds that he was still staring at her "he paid me for tonight" she said quietly, making sure that the teachers can't hear. "He's like a dog waiting for a treat from his master." Lauren giggles a little. I just roll my eyes, I'm really not into this topic, I'd rather talk about something else. But Rose is right, he has been following Lauren everywhere, I've noticed this. I'm really worried what he might do to Lauren, he's not Lauren's first "customer", but there something off about this one. I'm not sure if my powers give me a sixth sense, or if it's just the way he's acting, but I don't like this guy very much.

Lauren's POV
The day ends, and as usual, Rose and Nia were sour towards each other, what can I do to make them friendlier with each other? I love them both, but they just don't get along. I want to help them become friends, I need to think of something.
The three of us leave school and get onto the bus, Rose sits next to me, and Nia sits in the seat next to us. We started talking with each other, until we make it to our stop. We get off the bus, me and Nia said goodbye to Rose... well I said "goodbye", Nia said something more like "good to see you gone!" or something like that, Rose ignored Nia rude remark and left. Nia and I like in relatively the same direction, so we just walked together and spoke until it was time for us to go our separate ways, Nia offers to walk me home, she always does this, this is why I love Nia so much, she so considerate. I let her walk me home, when we make it to my house. And I found that the boy that paid me was at my front door, what was his name again? Jeff? I'm not sure. Nia throws an angry glare at him, that's fine by me, Nia is almost as protective as my mother, but at least she lets me live my life. We said our farewells and I went to greet him, "You've been very impatient all day, you know that?" I said to him, "I can't help that you're hot" I giggle at his complement, I unlock my door and asked him "you coming in or not?". We both enter my house, "so? Do you seriesly live on your own?" he asks me, "yeah, we have all day to do whatever we want, I'm going to take a shower before we start. If you want to join me, I'm ok with-" BAM!!!
All of the sudden, everything went white.
