Nia's POV
We both sit on the floor as I healed us both, Maria was holding my hand so I could heal her too. We were both pretty much healed now "Ok, Nia, I think it's about time we acknowledge the elephant in the room" she said, I know where this is going, "um, yeah?" I said nervously, "these 'things' that you can do... please explain them" I remained silent for a moment, "Nia! Answer me!" she said, I then answer, "I've had them my whole life, but I've always kept them a secret" I said honestly, Maria seemed surprised by my answer, but all she said was "is that so?", we both remained silent for a little longer, "Nia? What are you going to do after this? Are you going to turn me in?" she asked, I thought about it for a moment, I then said "nah, I broke every bone in your body, I think that's punishment enough" that and and I don't want to deal with the drama anymore, "Maria, look. I won't go to the police about this, but if they start asking me questions about you... then I will not lie to them. And as for you, drop this whole 'duty' thing, and just live as a normal maid. Please. No more killing, no more swords or guns. Just a quiet life with me and mom" shen looks at me for a moment, and then says "yeah, that's fair"

Back at the house
"Oh my god!!! What happened!?!?!" mom said as she saw the condition we were in. I was able to heal most of the pain and wounds, but we were still dirty and a little beaten up, "some people jumped at us and attacked us. But it's ok. I scared them off" Maria lied.

The next morning, Lauren faced her parents, there was a lot of apologies and hugs, and her parents forgave her, Rose and I are "somewhat" nicer to each other. Karen and I go out together quite often, on dates that is. And as for Sarah... I'm not sure what she's up to these days. Maria stopped working for my dad and is now living with us as a maid and my second (or I guess I should say third) mother. Everything seems so peaceful now, and I like it. I have grown fawned to this second life of mine. I just wish that this second life could last forever.
