Nico Di'Angelo was 18, though his 5'0 height, baby face, and his pale and skinny figure made him look about 15 or 16.

Will Solace, or more commonly known as his 6'0 tall boyfriend was 21 years old.

Nico and his band had sold out their first album and as a "congratulations," Will invited to take him out on a date. Though, due to how far apart they were at the moment, they were meeting at the restaurant, rather than arriving together.

Nico's POV

I stood outside of a nice, small Italian restaurant that Will had sent me the address of.

"Of course he picked Italian." I chuckled to myself before going inside.

"Table for two please." I shyly told the waitress as she walked me to a table.

"Not that center table. Please!" I pleaded inside of my head as I followed her.

"I'll bring menus in a few seconds." She smiled and left me by myself, at the... middle table.

Goddamn you, Social anxiety! I quickly took a seat, waiting for the menu.

13 minutes had gone by when Will finally arrived.

"Hey, cutie. Is this seat taken?" I chuckled at his little "joke" before replying.

"Yeah, it is. I'm waiting for someone." He smirked at my comment and sat down.

"Tell them to leave. This is my seat now." I opened my mouth to say something but quickly closed it.

"You're such a cutie." He smiled as he admired me as if I was some prized possession.

"Stop it." Will knew I didn't think of myself like that. I was just the ugly, depressed, antisocial, emo kid who got bullied.

"No, seriously. The way you're dark almost black eyes match with your dark raven hair which brings out you're beautiful quirky features. You're just so-"

"Stop." I loved when he was being all corny, it just made me want to cuddle him forever, but some lady was looking over. Probably disgusted by us, the two gay men.

"I'll stop, but you're fucking beautiful." Will brought his hand up to my cheek, caressing it.

"Sir! I don't mean to be eavesdropping, but I've heard him tell you to stop twice now. You fucking creep! You're like 20! He's just a boy! Maybe 15! Get your hands off of him before I call the police!" The same lady I noticed watching us a few seconds ago blew up on Will.

"Ma'am, with all due respected-" Will began but she cut him off.

"Save it! You need to leave! Right now!" She began pushing him away from our table, causing everyone else to turn around. A man came up, looking enraged.

"Sir, I-" The guy punched Will straight in the face. Will fell onto the ground as the guy jumped on top of him.

"Stop!" I yelled, trying to get the guy off of Will, but it was no use.

"Fucking pervert!" The guy shouted as he continued to punch Will. Suddenly, Will punched him back, pushing him off. I ran up to him, hugging him.

Will's lip was bloodied up.

"I'm not 15! I'm 18 and he's my boyfriend!" I screamed at the top of my lungs at everyone surrounding us.

"Wait- but-but you told him to stop after he began complimenting you." The lady stuttered.

"I don't like compliments! You just need to learn to mind your own business!" I was angry.

"And you! You want to be the hero so fucking bad without even knowing the goddamn details!" I don't know what came over me, but I jumped onto the man who still laid on the floor. I began swinging punch after punch before Will grabbed me off of him.

"Hey! No! Neeks, it's okay. Let's just go." Will grabbed me into a hug, kissing the top of my head.

We let go and began walking out and into Will's car.

"I'm so fucking sorry Neeks." He looked down onto his lap, avoiding eye contact. I reached over, grabbing his chin and making him face me.

"I love you Solace." I brought my lips to his, placing a kiss on them. He didn't kiss back, instead, he pushed his seat back as far as it could. Will placed his arms under mine, grabbing and pulling me onto his lap.

"I love you too, Death Boy." He smirked before kissing me.

Once we pulled apart, I snuggled into his chest. He pulled me closer, tightly wrapping his arms around me.

I didn't care about the consequences we might have for being in the parking lot for way too long. I didn't care about anything besides this moment.

"I don't know what I'd do without you Di'Angelo." He whispered.

"I don't know, but I know that I'd be dead without you." Literally. He grabbed my left arm, pulled up my hoodie a bit, and kissed the scars on my wrist. I felt his arms wrap even tighter around me.

"Please never leave me. I need you Neeks."
