@millenias because I owe her some answers
Me: Mom? You're actually here?
Mom: You got the voice mail.
Me: Yeah, where is Drew?
Mom: Thomas, it's not that easy. To tell you that i'd have to start over.
Mom: I was hiding you for years- two hundred and sixty four to be exact.
Mom: But I was failing to keep you safe. Lifespan after lifespan, the girls found you.
Me: Dragon and Ingrid?
Mom: Hollen and Drachen is what they're really named.
Me: So, I have lived several times before?
Mom: Yes.
Me: Why do they want me?
Mom: That is a different answer for me to tell you.
Me: What do you mean?
Mom: Thomas, they are sirens- they lure men to death. A great and evil lifestyle, but luckily they cannot... reproduce, without a special male.
Me: Let me guess, I'm a special male?
Mom: The special male. Your kind was enslaved thousands of years ago by the sirens. Raised to create new sirens. But after a plague that happened as you were a child- originally-, you were the only survivor. The sirens didn't know about you and eventually died off.
Mom: Except for Hollen and Drachen. They were also children at the time, your friends in the village actually. They found you at the age of 17, and they tried to capture you. The only way to stop them was to kill you.
Me: How am I alive then?
Mom: A curse. A witch, who thought she was helping you and the girls, cast a spell to make you live in an indefinite loop.
Me: So How do we stop this- them?
Mom: We can't. That's why we hide you. But they're smarter.
Me: Why don't we just capture them?
Mom: They'll eventually just die.
Me: So where's Drew?
Mom: Captured by the sirens.
Me: But I thought there was only two.
Mom: No, there is about two hundred.
Me: How?
Mom: The only time we failed, it was 1940. The girls got to you and expanded their race. Now, they think you can expand it more, creating more of them.
Me: I don't know, I don't even know.
Mom: I do. And here is the plan.
Mom: You are going to go back to school, act like none of this ever happened. When you see the girls, talk to them but never, ever, let down your guard. They don't know yet that you know. And they won't.
Me: But how will that save me?
Mom: The best plans are left unspoken.
