Percy's POV
I tell Thalia everything. All that I've hidden, who I've told and that Hestia knows. I also tell her what only my father knows.
"So basically you're saying that your fatal flaw is destroying your body from the inside out because of it having a base in another person? And that the only person that knows this is Poseidon, you and I?"
"Well Artemis as well because she is listening to our conversation." And muttering to myself "Stupid, how could you have missed her! She's not even trying to hide from you!"
Thankfully this was said quiet enough that Artemis couldn't hear but Thalia could. She looks at me and I plead with my eyes to say nothing and that we'd talk again later.
"Milady" Thalia greets her mistress.
"Thalia, Percy"
"Hello Artemis" I too greet her.
"Why are you hiding these from those that care for you?" She questions my choice in keeping it quiet.
"Because trust goes both ways. They must trust me before I can even begin to trust them. I've lost to many people because of my nature and that was without trusting most of my supposed friends. Of everyone I trusted Zoe, Thalia, Nico, Hestia, Connor, Hecate, Annabeth and now you. Less than half knew anything about my past. I was going to tell Annabeth but then I caught her cheating. Until telling Connor and Chiron I had two connections keeping my fatal flaw from self destructing; Thalia and Hestia. I have found Nico ignoring me in favour of his boyfriend Will, I can respect that but the tie broke. And then the rest started to break as well. I now have five. Thalia, Hestia, Connor, Chiron and ,now, you."
She looks genuinely surprised by this, as if it never occurred that she might be one of them.
"What will you do now?" This was Thalia, knowing that this is no longer home to me.
"I don't know but I'm leaving. Only returning at the request of my Flaw Ties or the order of a god." I state as I start to leave camp with an enchanted jacket that Leo made me before he disappeared that has a pocket dimension in the inside pockets.
"You may come with me" Artemis makes a proposal that will shake the world of immortals as we know it.
