AUTHOR'S POV

"Why are you avoiding me for the past few years?"

You ran out of words, the feelings you wanted to spill were stuck in your throat. Before you can utter any word, he interrupted.

"Did I do something wrong to you? Did I offend you in any way that you have to avoid me for years whenever I tried to talk to you?" He blunted. His face were full of hurt and anger.

"N-No, you didn't do anything wrong neither you offended me. I-It's just... just," Your voice faded. You're scared what will happen after you tell him your feelings.

Tears started filling your eyes, your heart pumped even more faster as you tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall down any sooner.

He widen his eyes and quickly brought his hand to your face, took away your glasses and wiped away your tears with his thumb.

"Hey," He cooed in a gentle voice. His expression softened. "I'm sorry for being fierce to you at our first meeting. Don't cry, alright?" He pulled you into his embrace, hugging you softly.

You sniffed and nodded. He released the hug and put your glasses on back for you. He murmured something that you could not catch but when you're going to ask him about it, he blurted something unexpected.

"I love you, Samantha. I fell in love with your nerdy look, your hazel brown eyes. It melted my heart when I first transferred into your school but never I did have a chance to confess my feelings, till now." He confessed. You froze in your spot, your eyes widened so much that it was going to pop out. You couldn't believe what you just heard.

Looking at your silence response, he just faked a smile. "I must be an idiot to confess because I just got rejected. Well, see you around." He turned away and was about to walk away when you gently tugged his hand.

He spun back with his eyes full of hurt.

"Actually, I have the same feelings as you do." You quietly spoke. A huge rock lifted from your heart when you finally told him your feelings.

He grinned and hugged you tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you for not rejecting my feelings."

You hugged back and chuckled. When you broke the hug, he held your hand. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, his eyes sparked with hope.

You nodded and he immediately spun you around.

He sent you back home and along the way, both of you exchanged numbers and you realised he was going into the same high school as you.

The conversation stopped when both of you reached your apartment building. He planted a kiss on your forehead, bidding his goodbye. "Good night, my angel."

You blushed crimson and nodded. "Good night," You squeaked and hurried in.

You took the lift up to your apartment and he texted you.

FROM: JONAS

Goodnight lovely :) By the way, are you free tomorrow? We have two months of holidays and I bet you won't turn down unless you're busy. :(
