-Beaus point of view-
We were waiting for what felt like days. I was pacing up and down the hospital. Her parents had arrived and so had Mum. The room seemed to be getting smaller. I needed to know what was happening. No-one had any answers. I saw nurses and doctors come and go all of them said not to panic. How could I not panic? My girlfriend and unborn child have been in that room for almost 5hours and no-one will tell us anything. Then a nurse came over.
‘Beau Brooks?’ She called. I shot up. ‘Jess is fine and so is the baby she had a nasty fall but nothing is wrong. Everything is fine. She is just getting her things and will be out in 5minutes.’ Then she walked off.
We all began to shred tears. I mean everyone. Even Skip and James. It felt like we were waiting hours, everyone still tearing up and then she walked out and stood infront of us.
‘Gosh you guys, crying? You’d think you were the pregnant ones.’ She laughed. ‘Can we go home babe? I’m really tired.’ She hugged into me.
Mum took Jess home along with Luke. While I dropped everyone else off home with Skip. Jai came with me because Mum didn’t want me to drive alone with everything that happened. When I got home I saw Jess had fallen asleep with her head on Lukes lap whilst watching The Incredibles.
‘Beau, help me?’ Luke whispered. ‘She just fell asleep on me as soon as I put the film on. I haven’t moved incase I woke her.’
I laughed at him then woke her up. ‘Come on baby, time for bed.’ She signalled me to help her up. We got into bed and drifted off in each others arms.
-Jennys point of view-
Jess wasn’t at school, we didn’t blame her after last night. We tried calling her but Beau answered saying she was still asleep, lucky.
‘We have to through her a baby shower next week’ Gabby announced. ‘The baby is due in 2months and she has to have one.’
‘We have to have a theme’ Ashley added. ‘blue and cream? cause then things will go with her room?’
We all laughed and began planning. We asked her parents if they wanted to come and they insited on throwing it at their house. Location sorted. We all decided that we would all bring food. Ashley was bringing cake. Gabby was bringing sandwiches. Luke was bringing cookies. Jai was bringing crisps. James was bringing pizza and Skip would bring drinks. Food sorted. All we had left was the presents. None of us were really sure on what to get them so Gina said she would take us shopping and point out good present ideas. Perfect.
-Jess’s point of view-
I woke up around 1pm and decided I would just stay in bed. I told Beau I’d be fine and I wouldn’t go downstairs. He brought me up drinks and snacks before leaving for work. I was planning on doing the rest of my English coursework that night but as soon as the twins arrived home they got in the bed next to me and ate my snacks. Faggots.
‘You thought of a name yet?’ They asked. I forgot we hadn’t told them yet.
‘Well we’ve picked two. Aiden or Dale’
They smiled. ‘Aw so cute.’
‘Aren’t you boys going park?’ I asked knowing they usually met up with everyone there.
‘Nope, Mum is taking all of them into town, they’re all there now. She told us to keep an eye on you’ Luke winked.
‘Well I’m doing fine.’ I smiled. ‘Oooh’ I laughed.
They looked scared. ‘What’s wrong?’
‘Nothing, he just kicked. Feel.’ I grabbed both of their hands and put the on my stomach.
‘Wow, it’s all so real’ Jai said in a daze.
‘No Jai, the baby is fake’ Luke laughed.
The boys helped with me with my English. Beau wasn’t getting back until 7 and Gina was going straight from town to work. It was nice just hanging out with them. We all drifted to sleep in Beaus bed and he found us when he came in.
‘What are you faggots doing in here?’ He said waking us all up.
‘They were helping me with my English and we kind of just fell asleep. ’ I smiled whilst attempting to get up. Jai got out and pulled me up so I could go over to Beau. Luke seemed to of fallen back to sleep. It was hopeless trying to wake him up.
