Timeline of thought. Tear over the dark. Unnoticed plea. Please hear my cry.

Timeless things I can't see. Hunched over, closed in.

"I do not sin." Empty field, single tree. You laugh. "Have you ever had the chance?"

Branches reach out grabbing the wind. A hint of green embraced the bole. Its then blanketed in a warm shaded bark. The stars created a contented trance.

Silent. A paced crunch of the grass. Quiet, not silent. Moonlight reflected on your iron and steel. Your Determined smirk look at the base of my wood.

"Come on over, I'll tell you my story of my tears." Frightened you were then simply ignored. "I slipped over my stones and tripped over rocks to fuel my darkness. I lost what I could stand over, not thinking I should"

"Don't you have the slightest memory of my existence?" You look up blanked face. "No, for the tree I once knew was small and fragile. Now with their power they have committed a sin. Never change, even for the wind."

Swing of your hand swiftly took the metal through me. Bark to cambium. Cambium to sapwood. Sapwood to heartwood. Falling over slowly into the grass. Life is useless when only seeing the useless. I've had a taste of rapturousness. I've lived longer than one of age, for we must see only the stars.
