Because instead of helping, you hurt me more

Maybe because every time I do
You blame yourself for how I feel
Or maybe it's because
You're the reason for all my scars
"You need to stop being so sad all the time"
But you see it isn't that easy
Because depression is like a persistent nag
That's always waiting there to tear you apart
