A.N. It took me forever to upload this, but it is FINALLY here. Enjoy :)
I had millions of questions. However, I didn't know which one to ask first. He didnt give me the opportunity to decide because he asked a question instead.
"You're learning about the Legend of Apparencia in Mythology, right?"
I looked back at him, confused at the sudden subject change. "Uh, yeah? But I really don't see how that has anyth-"
He cut me off by pushing back his chair and standing up. With his lunch tray in hand and bag on his back, he said, "Meet me at park on main street. 10 o'clock sharp and don't be late." With that he left, the bell ringing in his wake. I heard Cayden and BraeLynn walk up behind me.
"Who was that?" Cayden asked me, his mouth full of tatter-tots, trying to eat them all before we went back to class.
"That was the mysterious stranger," I clarifed,"the one in my dream."

I softly pushed my door shut, when I turned around I was bombarded by my best friends' questions.
"That's HIM?", "What is he doing here?", "Did you tell him about the dream?", "You better not have told him about the dream, did you?"
I had asked Cayden and BraeLynn not to talk about what happened at lunch, at least not until we were in my room.
"SHUT UP." My head already felt like it was going to explode from the amount of questions, and this increased the pressure of not knowing. "Yes, that's really him. His name is Killian. I don't know what he is doing here, and I didn't tell him about the dream. That's just weird." When I was done, I took a much needed breathe. They both were speechless, and were looking at me like I had grown another head.
"Well? Say something!" I ran a hand through my already messed up curls. I usually wasn't ever this flustered, but, then again, I have never dreamed about a stranger who claims to know me and then mysteriously appears out of thin air before. The whole thing was curious and made me very uneasy.
I moved my way away from the door to sit on my bed. BraeLynn quickly joined me, and soon after her Cayden did as well. I leaned my head on his shoulder, and BraeLynn leaned her head on mine.
We sat quietly for a moment, listening to the crickets chirp outside. I was the one to break the silence.
"Guys, I'm starting to think this is more than just a dream." I spoke softly, but it sounded loud in my ears.
"We have your back, Ro. No matter what happens." BraeLynn stated, Cayden nodding in agreement.
"Thank goodness for that."

When the two of them left, I went to my computer to work on my Mythology essay. I remember Killian asking about it, so I assumed it to be important. I opened up my search engine, typing 'Legend of Apparencia: Realm of Time Portals.' Close to a million results popped up. I clicked on the first link, MythWiki. I skimmed through it, and wrote down everything that seemed important to me. I clicked the back button, and then clicked on Images. Most of the pictures were drawings, paintings, or fanart. A photo that caught my eye was a painting. A man and a woman, you could see the crowns that were places upon their heads. I looked at the description of the picture. It read 'King Dorian and Queen Sophia.' King Dorian stood confidently with his nose high, but he didn't seem to be looking down on you. Queen Sophia looked strong, but managed to look gentle at the same time, her nimble hand was wrapped around her husbands arm, lovingly. I found myself starring too long at the picture. There was something familiar about it, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I pulled myself out of my train of thought, and continued looking though the images
