chapter eight- stay safe okay.....

time skip- shopping and panic....

Charlie's PoV-
I bolt upright I check the time...
1:00am
when I eventually figure out where I am I started to relax knowing nobody can get me I'm safe here with amy and Ben they treat me like I was always here with them they make me feel loved and I haven't felt that since my dad died.....
I wake back up at 8 I get a shower trying to be quiet so I don't wake amy and ben I get ready into some black jeans and a plain white top with a red jacket that Dianne gave me because I was cold one night at stage door she's so kind I tried to give her it back but she wouldn't except she said it looked better on me I don't think so I'm so ugly.....

amys PoV-
I wake up next to the love of my life he makes me so happy each day I'm with him makes my smile wider and I feel so much happier round him! I go in the shower then I walk downstairs to see Charlie on the sofa ready and watching tv....
"hello Charlie your ready early?" I ask
"it's 9am I'm always ready by 7 I have to be for school" she says
"oh so it's just a habit" I say
"yeah you could say that" she says
"have you had breakfast?" I ask
"yeah what we doing today?" She asks
"just going shopping for clothes and food!" I say
"okay that sounds good" she says
time skip- panic....

Charlie's PoV-
we walk through the shops I look over at amy who seems to be shaking abit looking around she keeps twitching I feel like she's having a panic attack I walk next to her and smile she gives a weak smile I take hold of her hand help her breathing slow down
"thank you Charlie" she says
"you can always count on me" I say smiling
"I've had to deal with it myself I had to lean quickly so I didn't get bullied for it" I say
"did you get bullied at your school?" amy asks
"well yeah but it didn't effect me as much because of home life" I say
"why what was your home life like?" She asks
"Well.....
narrators PoV-
they sat on a bench in the shopping centre talking about life, Charlie didn't give to much away because she didn't want amy to be scared of what she got happened to her and what she did, amy being supportive to her new daughter listening to her every word keeping the conversation going they got back in the car and drove back home where Ben had cooked them dinner they had been talking that long it was the night time! they got in Ben kissed his wife on the cheek as they walked in the door smiling at Charlie as she smiled watching the happy couple they sat at the table laughing all the way through dinner, it was like Charlie just fitted straight in as she walked in the door, she gave the place life with her warm smile and humour she will always miss her dad but that will be the pain she will deal with in life, amy will always try her to open up about her past but she keeps it all inside because her past isn't sunshine and rainbows, Charlie has this fear of her parents coming for her which will never go away and that scares her the only thing that will ever scare her, will she be safe for long who knows.....

I want to be safe, I want to be happy, I want to be loved will that ever happen?
