Night had already fallen, the bright blue moon shining high in the sky, rather large in sight. Although, it's magical powers did not affect me tonight as it usually would. It felt more like the opposite happened. I felt drained of energy, weakened from the power stolen from me.

A wolf began to howl, many others following the animal's suit. I pinched the bridge of my nose, sliding down the trunk of a tree to sit on the cold ground. Due to my idiotic actions earlier, there would most likely be a pack coming after either my family or me tonight, possibly both. I wouldn't be able to fight them, I had no powers whatsoever.

"I really hate that damn super moon, why must it be blue?!" I yelled out to no one in particular, considering I was alone. I kicked a rock in anger, the medium-sized stone flying a good five meters into the air and landing quadruple the height away from me.

It didn't matter, right? My fate was most likely to die. I didn't matter to anyone, and I felt quite fine with that as well.

Another cry came from the east, closer than the last one. I glanced over in the direction from where it came from, standing up as I did. The rustling of leaves became apparent, along with my black bangs swaying a bit. The wind was picking up, a signal that sorcery was being used in the area. If the witches and warlocks were helping the werewolves, then that would mean I might have no chance against them at all tonight.

A sudden growl came from in front of me, glowing amber eyes appearing in the shadows of the shrubs. They stood still for a moment, studying me. The growling continued and grew louder, the sound of more werewolves joining in. The sounds seemed to surround me, confusing me on where these filthy mutts stood. The wind grew stronger, causing various smells to reach my nose, now it was hard to detect their scent.

The original wolf lurked out from the shadows, it's matted brown fur shining in the blue light. It snarled at me, pure hatred and anger in it's eyes. From the looks of it, it was Dalca's friend, Taylor. His expression screamed revenge, that only meant I would be dead meat in just a few seconds.

I bolted in the other direction, running as fast as possible to get away from him and the rest of his pack. The wind whipped through my hair and around my body, making the temperature around me feel colder than usual. The sound of the werewolves came from behind, it sounded as though there were at least seven of them pursuing me. Their howls grew louder and louder as they started to catch up with me. Damn that blue moon; why must they have the advantage on this night?

I then tripped to the ground, feeling my toe throbbing. Looking at where my feet were, I saw a tree root lifting out of the ground; that must have tripped me just now, correct? The wolves came to a halt around me, their glowing eyes staring down at me. A few people came from behind, their vibes being ones of magic.

"What do you guys want?" I asked them in disgust, spitting a bit of dirt out of my mouth as I did so.

"You're a monster, do you not know that?" A woman with graying brown hair spoke to me. She was an elder, her green eyes glared at me, the crow's feet on the sides of them crinkled as she narrowed her eyes at me.

"I'm a vampire aren't I?" I spoke back to her harshly.

A sudden growl to my right caught my attention. There stood a smaller wolf, it's fur being more of a light blonde color. The annoying mutt made a contorted look with it's face, anger and revenge written all over it. Another wolf nipped at its ear, making the other wolf stop its growling at me. That filthy mutt continued to glare at me, having the same hatred as Taylor.

"We're stating the fact that you harmed a dear friend of ours." A younger witch spoke, she came out of the shadows and glared at me. Even in the poor lighting, I could tell it was the witch that always hanged out with Dalca at school. She actually looked similar to the elder, the only differences being that her hair was black, and her facial and body features were more of an Asian appearance.
