      I woke up earlier than Austin and took in the bright sun coming in from the window. A nice day to be alive with the love of my life beside me.
      In my arms I held Austin like a little baby. I mean, to be fair he IS my baby. It's crazy to think about how our paths crossed and how we are even together after what we've been through.
      We met 3 years ago when he was waiting for his coffee at Starbucks. I had just ordered my typical caramel macchiato and took out my card to pay. However, when I handed it to the lady, she gave it back and told me the guy in front of me paid for the two of us. That automatically made my day to think of anyone doing a small, kind gesture. I had asked her if she could point out who he was for me so I could thank him personally. Her finger ended up landing on the most attractive man ever. Long story short, I made my way over, thanked him, and asked what made him do it. His words were "It's not everyday I come across someone as beautiful as you." And the rest is history.
      Just thinking about the memory made me smile. I looked down at Austin and ran my fingers through his brown hair. I loved everything about him and my heart still skips a beat when he says my name.
      He's asked me so many times what made me fall in love with him and I say the same thing every time ; "your heart." To me, when you have someone's heart and they have yours there's no reason to doubt their loyalty or trust. They're going to devote their happiness to YOU. It's what makes life so special- finding the one person who makes you a better version of yourself.
      To add on to that, I admire his ability to fight through the toughest times, his effort to make me laugh when I'm sad, the way his eyes sparkle when I say I love him, his smile, his openness, his support, his ears when I need to rant to him, and even his banging body. Austin Carter Mahone is a dream man. He's MY dream man. Never in a billion years did I think I'd end up with a guy like him. But expect the unexpected. It just might get you somewhere in life.
      And with that, I kissed his cheek and watched as his eyes fluttered open.
      "Mornin' baby." Here's to another day. Another day with the love of my life.
