There's a possum on the roof is what my brain tells me, but the sound of claws clicking against metal make the darkened corners of my room creep further towards me.
There's a possum in the backyard my brain tells me, but the yowling sound still drives a shiver down my spine.
There's a possum outside my window my brain tells me, but the light only reminds me that there could be anything out there. And the longer I stare into the inky blackness, the more convinced I become that those eyes glinting back at me aren't from a possum at all.-------
Hey y'all! Sorry that I totally missed the Wednesday upload this week but uni's been kicking my ass!
This story is based off of an actual possum that likes to sit on the edge of our roof turn on the motion censor light in our backyard and also the massive amount of paranoia I get sometimes
Anyway, I'll try to actually upload on time next week
