HER EYES SPARKLED when she saw the ice cream, she happily eats them. When she felt her tongue felt a bit better, "I'm taking fashion design. So, I'm learning photography too so I can take the models clothing myself." She said with a smile again. She frowned when he wouldn't return her smiles. "Say, Prof, are you always moody or is that your resting bitch face?" Taehyung looked at her with his eyebrows' raise.

"Resting bitch face?" He questioned. Well, he isn't that old but he didn't know what term it was. "You see," she stopped smiling, "That was my resting bitch face, it's a face you do when you're not smiling nor you are frowning but people would assume you look angry for some reason." She chuckled. "Ah, I guess this is just my resting bitch face. But I don't really smile that often." He yawned, weird. He was tired. Usually, he needed to take pills to sleep but for once he was tired. "Ah, I'm keeping you up, thank you for the coffee and ice cream, I'll pay you back."

"Stay the night." He unconsciously grabbed her hand, "Sorry," he let her hand go. "I'm positive that the noise is still going on, and you aren't stupid enough to sleep at the pathway right?" She looked away with a nervous laugh, "Actually, I've slept on the pathway twice this month." She said herself unsure on how many times she slept outside whenever her mother's boyfriend starts drinking.

"God, you're stupid enough." He chuckled and her face lit up when she saw his smile. "Just sleep here, there's an extra room there and trust me, I won't do anything to you. I'm not that stupid enough." He ruffled with her head before heading towards his bed. He was sure he fell asleep right after he landed on the bed and to his surprise, he woke up seconds before his alarm goes off. "God, I slept well without dreams last night."

That was one of the rare nights where he slept like a log. He took a quick shower and peeked at the guest bedroom, she was still there. He decided to cook breakfast for her too since it was still early for him to go to work and he was sure it was early for her too. He knocked on her door a few times, trying to wake her up.

She groaned in her sleep, her hair a mess as she sat up in her bed. "Oh, God!! Am I late?" She scrambled off the bed but hit her knee with the bedside table causing her to laid down on the floor. "It hurts." Taehyung chuckled as he entered the room. "Kid, you're such a klutz. Come on, eat." He leads them towards the kitchen as they eat their breakfast at the kitchen counters.

"THANK YOU" She ate the pancakes he cooked, "I don't think I can thank you enough." Taehyung looked at her for a while a nodded, "It's nothing really, you just needed help and I happened to be able to help you, isn't that what people should actually do as a decent human being?" She looked puzzled for a while and smiled, "Yeah, if only everyone thinks that way. Most of the time, if it doesn't benefit them, they won't bother to lend a helping hand." She said before continue eating her food.

He looked at his wristwatch, it was almost 8 am. He picked up his dishes and spun around, facing her poking her on the forehead, "Aren't you carefree for a student? Almost 830. And I don't appreciate tardiness." He smirked showing the watch to her. She gulped and starts eating gingerly. Taehyung looked at her and laughed, "you're going to choke on yourself. Slow down, take a shower and meet me downstairs in 15 minutes."

She questioned him with her face, but wasted no time and ran straight to her home, her mother's boyfriend was still sleeping and her mother was out. She cooked eggs as fast as she could before heading to the showers to clean herself.

TAEHYUNG WAS READY to start his day when his neighbour's door flew open as a drunken man walked out from the apartment. The man passed by him as Taehyung managed to glance at his fist that was rather bruised. He watched him with the corner of his eyes. That man must be the kid's mother's boyfriend. He concluded himself.

Taehyung wasn't sure if he should have a word with the boyfriend but he was sure if he met the mother, he would gave her his nagging. A parent shouldn't let her teenage daughter risk her life by sleeping outside moreover it was clear that she was uncomfortable with her mother's boyfriend and it was understandable. He waited exactly 15 minutes and she showed up, dressed nicely.

"You're almost late." He gestured his fingers at her, gesturing her to follow her. "Let's go, you're gonna be late." He said while she follow suit, skipping since he was walked to fast that she needed to catch up with him. "You're gonna fall—" he said without looking back, "I'm not—" and just as she said that, she fell down after misstepping on few pebbles.

He looked back as she stood up brushing the dust away from her skirt. She pouted. "You jinxed me." He took out a handkerchief and patted her scrapped knee. "Told you not to skip around, I'll give you a band aid when I reach my office later. For now, use that." He patted her head and picked up her files for her before walking towards his car.

She stood there looking at his back and chuckled silently. "He's such a tsundere." She chuckled and jogged towards him before entering his car. Luckily her first class was with him and since he said he needed to go to his office first, technically she wasn't late. "You're lucky he hasn't arrived yet," her friend, Lisa waved and patted the seat next to her.
