HE WENT OUT THE SHOWER TO A SMELL OF BREAKFAST. He didn't even bother to button up his shirt as he ran to the kitchen expecting the worst. "What did you burn kid?" He screamed as he ran along the way. "Hmm?" She turns around to see him, his chest exposed. "Professor!" She screamed closing her eyes. He turns around as he buttons his shirt, "Kid, did you burn something? Tell me there's nothing on fire." He walked around her, pulling her by her waist kicking her out from the kitchen.
"Hey! I was making us breakfast?" He looked at her sceptical as he took over her pancakes baking session. "You sure or were you burning whatever you see?" He looked back to see her slicing strawberries and bananas. "Be careful with the--", "Ouch", he glared at her finishing his previous words, "knife," He sighed, finishing the pancakes with one hand and pulling her hand to the sink with the other.
"See? This is why I'm so sceptical whenever you do something." He prepares the plate as he took out a band-aid from the cabinets. "Just wanted to do something nice," She pouted sitting on top of the counters as his hand was fiddling with the band-aid. "Let me look at it," He blew on it first before putting on ointment before securing the band-aid. "Thanks," She murmured, unable to look at him directly when she realised that they were too close.
"KID, let's eat before you'll be late," He ruffled with her hair before taking the seat at the dining table. "Yeah, yeah," She hid her blush before scrambling to the dining table. It was his class first. She didn't know if that was pure luck on her side but she wasn't sure if it was good luck or bad luck. "Miss Kim," He called to her before she could go out of the lecture theatre. "Are you nervous about the fashion tournament? You look pale."
Shoot, she had forgotten about the next two weeks event. The most important moment for her. "You'll do great, no worries." He slickly winked at her when she was stunned there. "Tell me you love him," she heard her friends whispered close to her ears. "No-no— maybe?" She tilted her head looking at them. "I need to find models for my show or else I can't get the opportunity to graduate at my the tops of my class and go to Paris for the show!"
Rosé and Jisoo both put their hands on her shoulders. "You'll do fine, perhaps we should visit Lisa's quad." Lisa smiled as she pulled her head. "Obviously yes! You made clothes for males too right?" She quirked her eyebrows. "Yeah, I made for both genders," Lisa smirked. "Perfect!" She pulled Jennie's hand as they entered a room where there was full of people.
"Kai! Meet Jennie!" Lisa beams as she pushes Jennie too much with a force causing Jennie to stumble at Kai's direction. He managed to catch her before she falls. "Hi, we've met again." He smiled as he helped her to steady herself. "Hi, sorry." She looked at him, smiling bashfully but she managed to glare at Lisa for pushing her.
Lisa proudly strides towards them throwing her arms around them. "You know Jennie is a fashion designer right?" She looks towards Kai. Kai nodded, "perfect, how about you and I help this girl with her project. She needs model and I am willing to but she needs a guy too."
"Of course, I am honoured to model for your clothes. We might as well help you win the competition too." He smiled at her. "Perfect, you need our measurements right, we can go to your apartment." Jennie nodded and wrote the addresses. Forgetting that she lives with Taehyung. "Text me when you guys come over, Lis, I'm going to meet my professor one second." She ran passed by the halls.
"HOW AM I GOING TO TELL HIM?" Her mind was circling every thought she could and she stumbled into someone's chest making a loud thud of files dropped to the ground, she looked up to see the administration officer. "Oh, are you looking for Taehyung?"He smiled at her. Her eyes went wide as she looked at him. "I'm Jimin, his best friend. So, why don't you walk with me." He pulled her by her arm as they went to the opposite direction of Taehyung's office.
Her mind kept thinking of the worst-case scenario and she prayed that nothing bad will occur to her. "Do you like him?" Jimin focus on her instead of the flower they saw in the garden. "um, he's nice so yeah." She kept picking with her fingers, avoiding his eyes. "So you love him then," he pauses. "Do you know what risk he might face if anything happened between you two? Taking the circumstances that you two might date." She looked at him baffled, struggling to come up with any words. "Pretty sure he l--"
"Kid!" Both of them looked at the voice calling out to them. It was Taehyung. "I need something to discuss with her, will you go off Jimin?" He walked towards them, standing in front of Jennie blocking her view of Jimin. Jimin threw a laugh as he pats his shoulders, "Eager to protect, aren't you? You know there's nothing you can do to change what might happen." He passed by the two of them, walking out of the garden atrium.
She looked at the back of his neck as a drip of sweat came trickling down. Did he run to get here? she studies how he looked out of breath too. He probably did. "Just ignore whatever he said to you. He likes talking shit." He gathers himself as he took a breath. She looked at him straight into his eyes. Searching for whatever answer that she questioned ever since the first day she saw him. "He said something about risk and that won't occur if you didn't feel the same as I do. Did he indicate that you love me?" She pauses. "Cause I do love you."
