Proposal

It is 9:00 p.m. and me and Chadwick walked around the park after we had some dinner at this really nice restaurant that he used to go with his ex-girlfriend whom he met at Howard University and they stayed together right since their graduation right before he became an actor and since then he started acting, he was so busy with his schedule and didn't get the chance to spend quality time with her so they decided to go separate ways. I met him on the set of  "42" where he played the late Jackie Robinson and that's where things had gotten started. I used to work as a coffee runner to gave him some to help him stay alert during production and we became friends ever since then until he made his Marvel debut on "Captain America: Civil War" as T'Challa aka Black Panther which would lead to his own movie two years later where he would finally reach stardom. After the movie was released, we fell in love with each other and began dating for three years.

"Isn't this nice? Just you and me, walking together?" I asked, smiling.
"Sure is." he chuckled.
"I'm so glad that I'm spending time with you." I said.
"Me too."
"At least nobody's bothered us back there."
"Yeah, I got to deal with paparazzi and shit. It's so annoying but now I have the time to spend with you, babygirl."
"Like it when you call me "babygirl"." I said as I kissed his lips.
"When I first met you, I always thought you were so beautiful. You are truly stunning."
"Oh, babe, that's so sweet."
"Everything about you makes my heart flutter. Your essence. Your beauty. Your intelligence. Your kindness plus I love you, Natalie."
"I love you too, my love."
"I will be there for you at any time. Anywhere."
"Is there is something you gotta tell me?"
"Well, yes, I have to tell you somethig right here, right now."
"Okay, I'm listening."
"Baby, we've been together for a few years and I just wanted to ask you one question."
"What is it?"

He gets on one knee and pulled a little black box out of his pocket and as he opened it which contained a diamond ring, my heart began to beat faster, my eyes widen and I gasped as he pulled the ring out of the box and held it with my fingers.

"Will you marry me?" he asked me.
"Wait. Wh-what did you say?"
"Will you marry me, Natalie?" he asked again.

I didn't say anything as my eyes started to swell up and tears started to fell out of them.

"Is that a yes or no?"
"Yes."
"Yes?"
"Yes, I'll marry you!" I cried as I hugged him tightly.

After he proposed to me, we stayed engaged for the next few months later and we were planning on our wedding during that time. Around April, we threw a big wedding and we invited almost everyone from both of our families and of course, some of Chadwick's co-stars of "Black Panther" and other MCU films. As we got to our wedding reception, a bunch of people gave us some gifts, congratulating us until a couple of minutes later, we got called to our first dance as the DJ played "Best Part" by H.E.R. featuring Daniel Caesar. People were watching us in awe while we slow danced. After the reception was over, we booked a flight to Paris, France for our honeymoon and we stayed there for a week until it was time for us to return to America. Three years later, we were expecting our first child together and nine months later, we became first-time parents to our beautiful, healthy baby boy, Talib.
