✨Onika's POV✨
Tonight, I'm going out to this nightclub that I never been to with two people that are very close to me: Nakia and Okoye. What I'm wearing for the night is a satin black dress with high heels to match and my lips were painted crimson red and my hair was in a puff. As I was creating a smoky eye look in our bathroom, T'Challa was on our bed, watching his favorite television program and as I stepped out, T'Challa stopped watching and looked at me in awe.
"Wow. You look stunning, my love." T'Challa said as he licked his lips.
"Thank you, 'Challa." I smiled.
"I hope you will have fun over there."
"I will. Can I ask you something?"
"Yes, anything."
"Do you usually hang out with your friends sometimes, honey?" I asked as I grabbed my purse.
"I hung out with W'Kabi sometimes and I tried to invite M'Baku one time but he declined and rather be isolated like he always does."
"Oh, right. Maybe he'll change his mind one day. Anyway, I gotta go. They're probably waiting on me."
"Okay, have fun." he said as he got up from the bed and kissed me on the cheek.
"I will. See you around." I said as I winked at him and walked out.I went downstairs to the main room, just to see both Nakia and Okoye sitting on chairs, waiting for me. Nakia is wearing a long, emerald green dress with gold hoop earrings while Okoye is wearing a red dress and her shaved head is glistening in the moonlight.
"Damn, you look fly as hell, girl." Nakia said, smiling.
"Thanks, sis." I said, giggling.
"Ready to go, my Queen?" Okoye asked.
"Hell yeah! Let's boogie!" I replied as we all walked out.🌙The Nightclub🌙
As we entered the nightclub, it was packed and the speakers were playing several types of musical genres: Afrobeat, hip-hop, house, dancehall, and R&B and the people, some were on the dancefloor, were dancing and having a blast.
"This is so cool!" I shouted excitedly.
"Is this your first time?" Nakia asked me.
"Yes, and I want to visit it more!"
"Well, what do you waiting for? Let's go!" Okoye said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dancefloor. The three of us stepped on the dancefloor and began grooving. I'm having the best time of my life because I have never done this before and this is something that I would enjoy. Suddenly, I took my shoes off because my feet started to hurt and I carried them in my hand while I continue to dance. After that, we went to the minibar to order some drinks. I drank a couple of shots of vodka while Okoye had some margarita and Nakia had a cocktail.
"Slow down, 'Nika! You don't wanted to get sick, you know?" Okoye said, laughing.
"I'll be fine. A little vodka ain't gonna hurt nobody." I said as I took my fifth shot.
"Remember you got drunk on T'Challa's birthday dinner and he had to carry you to the bedroom?"
"That one was so embarrassing. I was really ashamed of myself." I said as my speech began to slur.
"Do not worry. The dinner ended up well. It is not like you ruined it." Nakia said.
"Mmm. Can I ask you something, Nakia?"
"Sure."
"I know you don't want to hear it and all but do you still have feelings for 'Challa?"
"Not really and I think it's best for both of us to stay friends and I do not want to ruin your marriage."
"I understand what are you saying, 'Kia. T'Challa is a good man and a great leader plus I love him. I always do and I'll be damned if anyone or anything trying to break us apart."
"Well, um...don't worry about that at this moment. Let's stick to having fun."
"Okay, I agree."
"Anyway, to our girls' night out!" she said as she raised her glass up.
"To our girls' night out!" Okoye and I said as we clinked our drinks.✨12:30 am✨
It's past midnight and I ended up intoxicated as hell, because I had one too many drinks and I spend most of my time, partying and drinking, and I was almost hooking up with a stranger that I barely know, however, Okoye came through to scare him off with her spear and she grabbed me and pulled me outside and Nakia came along with us. We would wait out there to request a taxi cab until one finally arrived and the three of us would hop in and it would take us all the way to the palace. As we arrived there, we stepped out and we entered there safely so that nobody could harm us. Okoye would walk me by her to my bedroom and as the door slides open, T'Challa was asleep peacefully until I fell down and he woke up from his slumber.
"Who's there?" he said in his sleepy voice.
"Owwww..." I groaned softly.
"What happened?" T'Challa asked as he was rubbing his eyes.
"She is very tipsy, my King but she will be alright." Okoye said as she picked me up and carried me to the bed.
"Oh, my goodness. Alright, I will take care of her. Thank you for bringing her safe." he said.
"No problem. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."As she walked out, I could feel my dress being removed from my body and I was being covered with a blanket for warmth.
✨The Next Morning✨
The sun has risen and I woke up with this huge headache that won't go away. As I was still in bed, the door was opened and T'Challa came in with a glass of water and some medicine and he gave them to me to relieve the headache.
"Last night was fun, wasn't it?" he asked.
"Yes, it was." I replied as I took a pill and drank some water to flush it down.
"That should help you get sober real fast."
"Thanks, baby."
"You poor thing. You've been drinking again?"
"Yes."
"Maybe you should ease on the alcohol, alright?"
"Alright." I sighed.
"I will make you some breakfast. How's that?"
"Okay, don't bring anything burnt, babe."
"Do not worry. Everything will be perfect. Be right back." he said as he kissed my forehead. As he walked out and into the kitchen, my Kimoyo beads went off and I grabbed it just to see Nakia popped up in hologram form.
"Morning, sis." she said, smiling.
"Hey, Nakia. How's it going?"
"Good. Good. I was checking to see if you're okay."
"Girl, my head hurts so bad, it felt like someone struck a hammer to my head."
"Awww, I hope you'll feel better cause T'Challa would take care of you." she said as she winked at me.
"You know he will. Anyway, we should hang out again if you're available."
"Actually, I'm going to be busy being a spy so maybe Okoye would hang out with you."
"Yeah, about that. She's going to be busy being the General so perhaps, Shuri would spend some girl time with me."
"She'd like that."
"Mm-hmm. Anyway, T'Challa is coming back so I gotta go."
"M'Kay. Talk to you later."
"Bye, Nakia!"
"Bye!"As she hung up, T'Challa came back with a tray full of fresh fruits, a cup of herbal tea and some French toast. He placed it on the bed so I sit up and eat it with some utensils.
"Who was that, sweetheart?" he asked.
"That was Nakia, honey." I replied.
"Ah, I see you two are getting along well." he said as he grabbed a grape and put it in his mouth to chew it.
"We are. We sure are."
"How are you feeling right now?"
"Almost better."
"Good. After breakfast, get some rest."
"I will."
"Once you have enough rest, I will take you out to dinner later on."
"I'd like that."
"I'll be back. I have things to do." he said as he grabbed the tray off our bed.
"See you later, my love."
"See ya." he said as he winked at me and walked out of our bedroom. After breakfast, I spend most of my day, resting for a couple of hours while T'Challa spends most of his time, ruling Wakanda and once he was done, he told me to get dressed so he could take me out to dinner so I got up and took a long shower to freshen myself up and 'Challa would join in to clean himself as well. After that, we had dinner and we had a good time together. I had fun going out with both of my girls who are always looking out for me whenever T'Challa has duties on his own, even though I drank too many drinks that night but who cares? At least I was having a blast.
