THE NIGHT TALK

The next morning, Lucy woke up and just realised she haven't took a bath, have dinner and did her homework. And she still wore her uniform when she's asleep! "HOMEWORK! OMIGOSH HOMEWORK!!!" For a smart student like Lucy, homework is always the first thing she needs to do. She looked at the clock. 5.06 AM, Friday, 2nd July. Great! I still have time! Lucy rushed her homeworks and she looked at the clock again. 6.28 AM, Friday 2nd July. Oh my God school starts at 7 and I need to rush! She prepared herself and rushed to the school. When Lucy arrived at school, she was nearly late. She sat on her chair and the lesson began.

When it was lunch time, she met Lisanna, then Lucy ran to her. "Lisanna!!" Lucy called her in an angry tone. "What the heck did you do to me yesterday!?" Lisanna ignored and left her. "Hey! It's not polite when your senpai is talking then you just ignore like that!" Lucy yelled at her, and it seemed like she didn't heard what Lucy said since Lisanna was already far away from her. Lucy sighed. "Nevermind then..."

After dismissal, Lucy prepared herself for the night and opened her phone. 1 new message. She opened it:

xxx-048-xxx: Hey! Meet me at the school's primary playground at 7 PM!

Lucy wondered what was Natsu trying to do. Why does it need to be at the school's primary playground? Why does it have to be at night?

Right at 7 PM, Lucy went to the playground directly. Natsu was already waiting at the swing. "Natsu!" Lucy called and sat beside him. "Why are you calling me here?" "I need to ask something."

"What?" Lucy asked. Is he trying to ask me again who's my real crush? "Just tell me, why aren't you at Biology class yesterday?" Natsu began to ask. "It's because..." What will happen if I tell him that Lisanna locked me? She will definitely share the whole school about the picture! "It's because someone locked me in the old storage room!" Phew. At least I didn't lie again... "What!? Someone locked you!? Who is it!!?" Natsu asked in a shock expression. "I... I don't know..." Lucy replied nervously. Shoot. I lied again. "I'm gonna kick that person's butt!! I will never forgive that person!!" Natsu stood up. Really? You're gonna kick Lisanna's butt? Pfft. Funny. Lucy started to laugh out loud. "What's wrong with you?" Natsu wondered. "Err... Umm... Nothing." Lucy holded her laugh. "And by the way, why do you need to come so far to ask me only this simple question?" Well, Natsu's house is pretty far from their school. Natsu didn't live on the dorm like Lucy since Natsu had his uncle and aunt to take care of him, while Lucy doesn't have anyone to take care of her. "You call this a simple question!? I've been thinking this the whole time!" "Then why do you need to think of it?" Lucy asked back. "Because... Because I care!" Natsu whispered. Wait. What did he say? "Sorry Natsu, but could you repeat it again? You whispered didn't you?" Lucy asked again. "Nevermind..." Natsu replied.
