"The girl is in the cells." Katja announced as she leaned against the wall next to the wooden double doors and crossed her arms in front of her chest. Darko seemed uninterested and kept his eyes on his paperwork, pretending like no incident ever happened.
"If I may ask, why are you keeping the girl instead of just killing her and get it over with?"
Darko let out an annoyed grunt and stood up, looking Katja dead in the eye.
"And why should I do such a thing?" He asked, stepping around his desk and dangerously close to Katja.
"As a warning to the Rebellion. Or do you really think they'd just give up and sit down? Open your damn eyes Darko! They outnumber us. I'll give it three weeks and the girl either got freed by her fellows or died in the cells"
There was a short silence before Darko threw his head back and started to laugh maniacally. Within the blink of her eye, Darko had Katja pinned against the wall by her neck.
She clenchted onto Darko's wrist for dear life and glared at him with shock and disbelief. Katja didn't expect him to snap that much.
"Is that so?" Darko spat. "In that case you're in charge of her." His grip tightened. "If she escapes or dies in that cell you will take the consequences for it. Understood?"
"Y-Yes" Katja hardly choked out.
"Yes?" Darko growled.
"Yes, sir"
Darko let go of Katja's neck and she fell to her knees, leaving her gasping for air.
"She has valuable information. Get them out of her. Every single one."
"And how am I supposed to do that?" Katja asked slightly annoyed as she got back up. "She won't speak voluntary"
"Make her speak."

[Y/N]'s eyes slowly fluttered open. A warm sensation seeped through the sensitive skin of her face. She touched her forehead and looked down at her hand.
It was covered in crimson red and [Y/N] noticed chains attached to both her wrists. There were also gloves on her hands she couldn't remember putting on.
"I'm impressed" Elise's voice filled the air. "You wake up fast"
[Y/N]'s vision was still blurry and she could barely make out a figure hovering over her.
"Get away from the girl, Elise" Katja stepped in, the cell door screeching slightly as it got closed.
Elise rolled her eyes.
"What do you want from me?"
"I'm in charge of her, not you. Now leave."
"You can't tell me what to do."
"Leave."
Katja's tone in voice told Elise that it'd better to back down, and so she did. Reluctantly she left the cell, but not before shooting one last nasty glare at Katja.
"Couple therapy could help" A snarky comment echoed from behind Katja. She turned around just to see [Y/N] smirking at her. "Or perhaps being less of an asshole"
A snarl was evident on Katja's lips and her blood was boiling hot.
"You spit high notes for someone in your position"
"You don't scare me" [Y/N] plainly stated.
"I'm sure your horse thinks different about us" Katja smirked when an idea popped into her mind.
"Don't you dare touch [H/N]" [Y/N] abruptly got up and lunged forward, but got stopped by the chains restraining her wrists. Her voice was extremely low and her fists tightly clentched. Katja was getting to her.
"Oh? Did I strike a nerve?"
[Y/N] snarled at her, her eyes blazing with the fire Katja ignited. If they were to touch her horse, [Y/N] would make sure to make their lives a living nightmare.
"Stay. Away. From. My. Horse."
"What if I don't?" Katja's smirk grew wider. "Just imagine it! The coat soaked in red, soul broken. Isn't that delightful?"
[Y/N] forcefully pushed herself forward again. The chains restrained her once more and sharp pain from the gash on her shoulder shot through her body, making her wince at the fire in her veins.
"Or even better: a broken horse for one of us Dark Riders"
[Y/N] had enough. The energy inside her piled up, it's power matching her fury. Just as [Y/N] was about to attack Katja, an unbearable pain pumped through her.
[Y/N] fell to her knees as her breath got caught in her throat, preventing her to cry out the agony. Her hands cramped, felt like they were on fire and sharp needles ran through the rest of her body.
Katja stepped forward and kneeled down in front of [Y/N], her expression darker than anything [Y/N] ever came across.
She gripped [Y/N]'s hands tight, sending another wave of pain all throughout her body.
"This gloves make your own magic turn against you with twice it's power. I'd highly suggest you to limit the use of your powers if you don't want to feel that again." Katja grabbed [Y/N]'s chin and forced her into eye contact.
"Now let's start over. What. Is. Your. Name."
-----
Lisa, Alex, Linda and Anne were desperate. Questions flooded their brains, clouding out reality.
"How could she ignore direct orders from us?!" Alex fumed.
"Alex, you weren't quite different. In fact, you were the exact same as [Y/N]" Linda replied, causing Alex blood to get a little hotter than before.
"We don't have time for that. We need to find a way to get [Y/N] out of there-"
"Actually we need to find out where 'there' is" Lisa interupted Anne.
Anne groaned and rubbed her eyes with thumb and index finger of her left hand. "If only Fripp and Elizabeth were here..."
She opened her eyes again and focused on the main issue.
"Okay Lin-"
"Did you guys hear that?" Alex cut Anne off. Knowing it's useless to fight, Anne kept her mouth shut and listened to any noise that could occur.
"Hooves...?" Lisa questioned. "But it's past riding time?"
Alex walked over to the huge entrance of the meeting room and opened it, eyes widening at the sight.
She barely managed to dodge the gone-wild horse that just dashed into the room in panic.
"[H/N]?!" Everybody shouted in unision.
Anne rushed over and grabbed the reins of [Y/N]'s horse, placing a hand on it's nose. [H/N] walked backwards, jerking his/her head in several directions trying to get rid of Anne's grip.
"Hey.. hey, hey, hey, hey hey" Anne spoke fast. "It's okay [H/N], you're alright"
At the sound of Anne's voice the horse calmed down. [H/N]'s muscles were corded and even though he/she had calmed down, there was a look of terror in his/her eyes.
Once again, Anne's hand rested on [H/N]'s nose and he/she pressed it against her warm palm.
"They took her..." [H/N] breathed.
"Shhh it's alright" Linda whispered as she stood beside the horse, stroking it's neck. "What happened?"
"They hurt her..." [H/N] couldn't focus.
The Soul Riders stiffened for a moment. Knowing that [Y/N] is hurt adds a little more tention to the situation.
Linda and Anne kept stroking [H/N] while Alex and Lisa took a quick glance over the horse, studying the injuries.
After they were sure [H/N] was almost completely calm again, Anne spoke up.
"Now again, what happened?"
