One. Two. Three. Or more years, you still remember him or her.

You can still remember the fragments of your memories from the moment the two of you met, the way how you look into his or her eyes, the things that the two of you love to do, the places, the songs, and even the dates.

You can still remember the date when did you feel something special about him or her, the times you waited for that someone, the moments when the two of you became official, your first date, first quarrel, and even the moment you cried for him or her.

Sometimes, no matter how much you tried to forget those bad memories, they keep on coming back. They keep on haunting you, like a nightmare. You wanted to run, run away from pain.

You wanted to move on. However, there are times that you are just fooling yourself. You know that you are not yet ready... that there is still a piece of that someone that you can't let go. Maybe, the pictures of both of you, the gifts that you still keep, or the memories.

The two of you are over, but the feelings are not. You chose to part ways, maybe because it not yet your time, one of you got tired of the relationship, or you're the one who chose to let go for his or her happiness... the reason was you know that she or he is not happy anymore.

Whatever the reason is, you know goodbyes happen. The person goes, the memories stay.

Now, why is it hard to forget someone? Because you still keep a part of him or herself.
