Imagine. You met a complete stranger, then after a period of time, the two of you fell in love with each other. Even though you didn't know how long that person will be staying in your life, you still chose to invest feelings, time, and effort for that someone.
You still love someone, though, you know that it's a one in a million chance if he or she will love you back. You take a risk because you believe in things that don't have assurance. Although you are aware of the reality that some people are meant to stay temporarily in your life, you still invest feelings.
The sad reality is... with that investment, you receive pain in return because you choose to love. Love isn't just about happiness... love demands for sacrifices that will surely hurt your feelings, and even your ego.
They say to love is to get yourself ready for pain.
No matter how many times, he or she hurt you, you always forgive him or her. You still look for something positive in that someone, and you'll soon realize how much you love that person, and you can't afford to lose him or her.
