Prompt; 69- "You Don't Care, Nobody Cares, Just Leave." + 80- "I Couldn't Save Them! I Couldn't Save Them!"

Note; okay, so I got this request and then the next day when I went to copy the requested information the comment was deleted, it was missing.. but luckily I remembered some parts of the request, so idk know who requested this.. fuck I'm such an idiot. but I hope whoever you are.. I hope you like this, also I wasn't completely comfortable writing this because I don't know what a woman goes through when she loses a baby, I had to google the emotional state they are going through and what would be running through their mind... I tried my best... probably fucked it up also, but I hope it's not too bad...  also I follow Claire Holt on Instagram and she said she joined an online support group and it helped her... so I kind of did what she did. :)

Warning; miscarriage, mention of miscarriage, depression.

You were happily married to the love of your life, Lewis Hamilton, people always say that the first year of marriage is always the hardest but it was the opposite for you, it was one of your happiest years, during the second year you fell pregnant, one of the best moments you could ever dream of, you were excited and Lewis couldn't wait to become a father.

But then... Then everything went wrong, you were feeling fine one minute and the next blood was rolling down your legs, you knew what was happening, you were having a miscarriage, Lewis rushed you to the hospital and they rolled you into O.R.

When you arrived home a few days later there were dark circles underneath your eyes, you felt tired but you couldn't sleep, the thought of losing your baby haunted you, at first you were in disbelief and then... anger and depression.

Lewis tried to stay strong in front of you but it was hard on him also, you had pushed him away and rejected his invitation for any kind of food or comfort.

"Love..." Lewis softly says as he steps into the bedroom, you were curled up in bed with tear-stained cheeks.

"What?" You ask in a monotone, you were numb at this point.

"Do you want something to eat?" He asks, you shake your head.

"I'm not hunger." You say, he nods his head.

"You should eat... you haven't eaten for days." He says, you let out a sigh.

"Please don't..." You whisper.

"Don't what?" He asks stepping closer to the bed.

"Don't pretend that you care, you don't care, nobody cares, just leave." You say, you didn't know how to cope with this, you didn't know how to handle the loss of your child.

"I do care, I hate seeing you like this, I hate seeing you depressed, I know you're hurting." He says, you look up at him.

"Please go..." You whisper, he lets out a defeated sigh but leaves.

A few days later Lewis was in the Mercedes garage staring off into space thinking about you being alone at home, you had refused to join him in Australia for the start of the Formula One season, luckily one of your friends said that they would stay with you until he came back.

"Lewis?" One f the mechanics say, he blinks and looks at the person in front of him.

"Yes?" He says.

"Are you okay?" The mechanic asks, not sure how to answer the question.

"I uh..." Lewis begins but cuts himself off, he could feel himself become emotional. "No.. no, I'm not." He says. "My wife is at home depressed after a miscarriage and I... I couldn't save them! I couldn't save them!" Lewis says loudly and slams his fist onto the nearest table, everyone in the garage stopped their actions and turned to look at Lewis, Darth, his new trainer for the season, made his way up to Lewis.

"Lewis, Lewis, come with me." Darth says and leads Lewis to his cool down room, he closes the door.

"Sorry... I just, I can't help but feel responsible." Lewis says.

"There was nothing you could have done... Things like that are not in our control." Darth says, Lewis nods his head not wanting to discuss the topic anymore.

When Lewis arrived home after the Grand Prix you greeted him at the front door, looking a little better.

"Hi... I'm glad to see you're up." Lewis says dropping his bags by the door.

"Yes... I joined a support group, online." You say, Lewis nods his head. " They've been really supportive and helpful, it made me realize that it wasn't just me that lost our kids, but you also." You say. "And I'm really sorry I didn't take your emotions into consideration... I was being selfish and thinking about myself... allowing guilt to eat me up."

"No, it's all right. You needed to vent." Lewis says, you nod your head.

"Thank you... for caring." You say. "For sticking with me even when I told you to leave."

"What kind of husband would I be if I just left you?" Lewis asks, you give a slight smile.

"Do you want something to eat? I made macaroni and cheese and I know you're not supposed to eat it." You say.

"Yes, I'm starving..."
