⚠️ Mentions Of 9-11 ⚠️

Alex walked down the frigid streets of New York city. He had on several unflattering layers of wool. Alexander stopped at the cross walk as he spotted a man slip on the ice with his grocery bags full, he rushed to help him and rescued some Froot Loops the man dropped by the curb. The guy made a comment on how beautiful Atex's smile was. He thought he was sweet and started to go.
"Hey...What are you doing tomorrow? Cus' I'll be here on the corner of Bettwood and
Decker tomorrow at 7pm..lf you wanna meet up, I'll be waiting right here and in case there are two fellas waiting for you, my name's John..." He said sheepishly as he waved then, he was gone.

Needless to say, Alex went back there to meet him, mostly to see if he'd show. There
John was, out in the cold with his jacket pulled tight.
"Hey.." Alex's voice was near a whisper as they greeted each other.
Throughout the night, the pair had gone many places, savoring each others company.

They had gone out to dinner and talked while enjoying both of their favorite meals. Alex and John even decided to go ice skating, which Alex wasn't very good at, but learned with the help of the other. Both mostly just talked with each other, laughing fondly at light hearted jokes. It had been one night and yet John and Alex felt like they'd known each other their whole lives. He kissed
John's cheek goodnight as they stars shone above New York.

That next week, the two went to see this terrible play and the week after that drank hot chocolate all day and suddenly eight or nine months had flown by. John and Atex were inseparable. They spent hours upon hours together. They acted as a married couple would, or like an overly romantic couple from a Hallmark movie. The pair would always spend time together in the evenings. Although Alex seemed to work a tot, he always made time for John.

The evenings would often be spent just watching a movie and enjoying each others warmth.

However, some nights the couple would go out for drinks or to walk through Central Park.

One day, they were walking arournd the brisk streets of New York and came across the
Bellwood Street and Decker Street corner.
John had suddenly took a small black ring box from his pocket, grabbed Alex's hands and said, "Hey, what you doing the rest of your life..? Because i'll l be here, right beside you as long as you want me to be. There no question, there's nothing I've wanted so much in my life. This might sound cheesy but I'm totally sure you're the one and we had just begun.."
Alex felt hot tears in his eyes. Tears of overwhelming happiness. After practically jumping on John and hugging him with all his strength, he whispered out a yes.
"There's nothing I'd rather do.. Oh my god, yes!" Johns cheeks blushed over with a light pink hue, tearing up as well.
"I love you so much." He picked Alex and spun him around, joining In on Alex's laughs.
The two shared a loving kiss before John put the breathtaking ring on Alex's finger.

The happy couple spent days after days planning their perfect wedding. The planned the guest list, color theme, and even began to talk about the reception. Alex and John had agreed on having it held in September, their favorite month. They had a band coming to play at the old church. The two's favorite band, in fact. A band they would listen to during ungodly hours of the night, dancing weirdly on the bed whilst the loud music played. To others eyes, they were moving too fast but the lovers didn't mind. Both knew they loved each other and that would never change.
