I watched as Ria took two arrows and stuck one in the tree. she grabbed at it then she brought the other one into the bark. She kept using the arrows to make her way up the tree.

The Athena kids realized she wanted to see where the other team was. The Hermes kids looked puzzled and one shouted.

Great, now our position was given away. She finally reached the top. Although I couldn't see her eyes I though knew she had found them.

Ria jumped down. I ran off in the direction she was pointing, the Hermes and Athena cabin behind me.

I ran into a tree.

I quickly got back up. When I ran into an Ares kid. It was Sara. She grabbed her spear given by Clarisse a former Ares kid. She stabbed at my arm and there was an appearance of blood. I tightened the grip on my dagger. We weren't allowed to kill . but we were aloud to hurt.

I prayed that Sara didnt have on armor and I stabbed at her shoulder. She grabbed at it in pain and crumpled to the ground. Three Hermes kids surrounded her to make sure she didn't run back to camp.

I called to Jessie

"Lead the Hermes cabin that way."

Jessie ran off in the opposite direction. We were going to sneak attack from both sides.

I put my finger to my lip to show that they should be silent. We slowly creeped through the shrub afraid to brush against one and giveaway out position. I could see two ares kids and 3 Dionysus kids guarding the flag. Their eyes darted but I could tell they were off guard ( no pun intended)

This was perfect.

I signaled for anyone carrying an arrow to shoot and they aimed right at the guards. We charged at the kids. Usually Athena kids don't look that intimidating. But when there are ten of them all carrying weapons imitating the face they would if you just found the solution to pi before them. Then yes that is a little intimidating.

We lunged slashing and swiping. Stabbing and throwing. Athena kids were great with knifes. That's when I saw my chance. The flag was unguarded.

I grabbed at the flag but I was stabbed in the thigh when I was a finger length away. I fell to the floor and scooted into a corner hoping noone would notice. I had been stabbed in the side and hadn't noticed( which is weird) and I was losing blood fast. I ripped off the seams in my sleeve and tied the sleeve around my leg.

My vision started to blur and I felt light headed and dizzy. My last sight was of the Hermes kids joining us .

I blacked out.
