The licorice sky sent a moon ray through the window of my room and shined on my face. Once again I couldn't sleep. I tried tell my self tomorrow we left for the labyrinth, that I had to get some sleep. But my eyes refused to close.

Eventually I was casted into darkness.

My alarm went off for time to pack my things. I grabbed a drawstring bag. I stuffed it with a sweater some first aid things, ambrosia, a small blanket that turned into a pillow, and lots of water and Raman noodles.

I met up with Nick and Abhijit to do an equipment check. I was wearing some waterproof gym shoes, black jeggings, and a camouflage half sleeve. I tied my hair into a French braid. We grabbed our stuff and set out.

We found the entrance to Daedalus's labrynth between two rocks. A blue symbol glowed in a crevice casting an eery shadow on Nick's face.

I walked towards the glow and found myself falling underground. I wanted to scream as I went down the shoot, but nothing came out.

After a while I thudded on the ground. My right cheek was layed against the rust colored gravel and it scratches against my skin. My spine was aching as I lifted myself from the ground.

It was a little bit hard to see and I squinted my eyes trying to gather as much light as I could. I sat there my back pack against the wall, with my hands around my knees. I waited for Nick and Abhijit to come.

After a while I heard a thump and I ran over to see who it was. I grabbed their hand and pulled them into the faint light. It was Abhijit. He looked like a ghost.

"Whoa! What happened to your face?" he exclaimed.

"Shhh! Now is not the time for jokes! And I don't look that bad compared to you!"

( p.s abhijit Me and anvi still looked better than you.)

"No seriously! Your Cheek has a big scratch on it."

I reached for my cheek and when I removed my fingers a little but of blood was on it.

Suddenly Nick fell from the ceiling. Abhijit dragged him over and propped him against the wall.

I handed him a water bottle. I took a mirror out of my bag and stared at my cheek. There was a scar that came from the start of my ear to the bottom of my jaw.

We walked on through the twists and turns of the cabin. I was careful not to step on any of the craters in the floor.

But Nick wasn't as careful.
