"Shirai! Shi-chan! I'm sorry about yesterday, when I didn't get to walk home with you!"
Naruto kept apologizing to me, but I just shook my head as I chuckled. It was no problem anyway. He had his priorities and I understood it.
I placed my books on my desk, and then placed my bag in front of me. I settled down after our sensei came in, fifteen minutes late as usual. Since he was always late for fifteen minutes minimum, I always came in late too and just spent time in the school library first to gain the knowledge I should have learnt while he was gone.
"Good morning, idiots!" Greeted Kakashi-sensei, and we all rolled our eyes.
"Good morning, sensei?" We all said in unison, except from Sasuke. He only made a small hn sound, but we were all used to it anyway.
"First thing in the morning and all I see are idiots, again. Anyway, keep your books away because we won't be using that," he said, and I raised a brow.
"Why, sensei? Aren't we supposed to learn?" Sakura asked, and everyone started agreeing. Except from, well, him.
"Nonsense. We'll have a quiz. Let's see how much of an idiot you kids really are," said Kakashi-sensei, and most groaned.
Throughout the quiz, I partially paid my attention to Sasuke who calmly answered and closed his eyes after finishing first again.
I sighed.
"When are you planning on confessing, Shirai?" Naruto asked, and I turned to him with a sad smile.
"Never."
