Days passed by and I never saw Sasuke. The room sure felt quiet and lonely, especially since all but one girl named Hinata Hyuuga took fancy on him. Every admirer's heart broke, and ever guy cheered, but I know they were gonna miss their rival, too.
And me? I was dumbstruck. I still couldn't focus.
I just lost my chance again, again. Who will I stare at, during class hours? How can I look at him and admire him secretly?
The room was silent, because Kakashi-sensei was absent again.
"Hinata, this is your fault," Sakura said, standing up and looking at Hinata.
Hinata furrowed her brows but I could tell that she was nervous about what the pinkette had to say. She liked him, too. Clearly.
"W-Why?" Hinata nervously asked, and I heard Naruto sigh beside me. He liked Sakura, but I could tell that he took pity on Hinata for she was being questioned by the pinkette.
"He clearly was head over heels for you, and you never paid attention to him! He always put lunch on your desk everyday, but you just ignored it and rejected him every day!" Sakura exclaimed, and suddenly, all of the girls except me were agreeing to her.
"Sakura, I'm sorry-"
"Save it," said Sakura, and I sighed.
"Fighting over him won't bring her back, Sakura," muttered Naruto beside me, and I widened my eyes.
"N-Naruto, you baka! I didn't ask for your opinion!"
I turned away, looking at his usual seat but only to see an empty and seemingly lonely aura.
I sighed, and then continued reading my book.
What is really happening, Sasuke?
