Ladybug POV
~Two weeks later~
I still have yet, to tell Adrien about the baby. Alya keeps telling me that I can't keep holding it off, eventually I have to tell him the truth. Everytime I feel like I'm ready to tell him, I freak out and just change the subject to something entirely different.
Ever since that day at the apartment when I almost decked Adrien, he's been around alot more often...a little too often. He visits me every single day now and when he doesn't he's texting me every ten minutes. Not that I'm not happy with the attention he's giving me, but I worry what his father might say if he finds out Adrien's still involved with the girl who he was accused of having a scandalous affair with.
Besides that I think the stress is getting to Adrien more and more these days, he's been much more protective of me these last couple of weeks. He constantly ask me if I'm tired, doesn't let me carry any of my groceries these days, he always ask if I'm eating enough and if I'd like him to make me something.
Again, I'm not complaining I love that he cares, but it's all so sudden. It just makes me wonder if something happened that made him change so much.
Adrien isn't the only one I have to worry about breathing over my shoulder. Chat Noir has also been getting on my case about my health these day and it kind of makes me wish I hadn't confined to him that I was pregnant.
Here we are on patrol, once again and he's still giving me that concerned look he's been doing for the past couple of weeks.
"What's wrong Chat?" I asked even though I'm pretty sure what he's going to say by now.
"Do you really need to be out here tonight Ladybug?" He asked. "I can handle the patrol myself, you really shouldn't push yourself so hard these days."
"Chat for the millionth time I'm fine." I was annoyed for a moment, but calmed myself since I know he's only telling me this cause he cares. "Honestly I'm okay, I know you're only looking out for me, but I can handle myself okay?"
"Yeah, but..." Chat was about to say something, but he hesitated. His ears were pressed down against his head, and I brushed my fingers through his hair getting a smile out of him.
"Thanks for being there for me Chaton, but you really shouldn't worry so much." I sat on the edge of the rooftop and patted the spot next to me where he took a seat. "If this is how you act towards someone else's child I can't even imagine what you'd do when you have your own kids someday."
"Yeah wouldn't that be something..." There was a nervous glint in his eyes for a moment and when I was about to ask what was wrong again the two of us heard an explosion in the distance. "W..What the hell was that?"
"I don't know, but we're going to find out."
I throw my yoyo and began to swing towards the sound. Chat followed, once again asking me to be careful. The closer we traveled to the noise and the distance sound of police sirens, I noticed a huge trail of smoke filling up the sky.
We arrived at the scene to see an entire building caught on fire. I acted fast jumping to the street and meeting with the Chief of Firefighters.
"What's the situation?!" I asked
