"God, this would be so much easier if we could just fly." Katsuki sighed.
They had passed through the first city and were almost to the next, but the journey was painstaking on foot.
"I haven't been able to transform since that time."
"I know. I'm just saying it would be easier. We could be there already."
Eijirou laughed. "I guess we could."
"It's been a year though. I wonder why you can't turn back. Especially since it's your true form."
"I don't know either." Eijirou shrugged. "But it doesn't matter. I like being human more anyway."
"Why? If you're human, you can't fly and you don't have much power."
"Yeah." Eijirou nodded. "But I'm closer to you this way."
Katsuki lowered his head so the pink in his cheeks couldn't be seen. "Do you really...trust me that much?"
"Of course I do. You've been there for me since the beginning."
"Only because you could fly."
"That's not the reason."
"Well, sure it is." Katsuki insisted. "What other reason could I have?"
"You think I'm manly and want to be by my side forever because you're a big softie."
"I'm not a softie! Who said I was a softie?!"
"I said you were a softie."
"Take it back! When have I ever been a softie?"
"Uhhh when you were nursing me back to health like a little softie, softie."
"Oh, so now I'm a LITTLE softie?"
"That's not the only thing that's little and soft."
Katsuki huffed. "You better be talking about kittens or some shit."
"I'm talking about your dick."
"Fuck off."
"Hey, look, it's the city." Eijirou halted, looking far ahead to where the city sat. It looked...drab and pathetic...but also slightly familiar.
"Fuck." Katsuki groaned. "This is the city that fuckin Deku runs."
"That earl who you don't like?"
"Yeah. And he shouldn't even be a damn earl. The only reason he got the title is because Earl Toshinori married his peasant widow mother before he died."
"I think it's inspiring. To think that a common boy would end up as an Earl over something as seemingly simple as love."
"Okay Shakespeare. Go back to telling dick jokes."
"I think we should pay him a visit."
"Why? He's just some loser."
"Well, I have a hunch that he might know something important."
"And I have a hunch that I'd rather sleep on the streets than share a room with that guy."
"You two are more alike than you think."
"You're a Dumbass"
Eijirou laughed. "If you go, I'll do anything you want for a whole day."
"Does that include shutting up?"
"If that's what you want."
Katsuki sighed. "If I visit him, AFTER we check out the tower, mind you, will you...uh."
"Will I what?"
"Will I am."
"Kat, tell me what you want. What you really, REALLY want." Eijirou begged.
"I wanna..."
"Uhuh?"
"I wanna..." God, he really didn't want to say it. It was so embarrassing.
"Kat..."
"I wanna kiss you, Ei."
Eijirou laughed, but not in a cruel way. He leaned forward, planting a soft kiss on Katsuki's cheek, one so gentle that he barely felt it.
"You didn't need a deal to get that from me, Kat."
