"I know how long I was gone." Why couldn't Eijirou come into this office with him? He didn't want to be alone with this fool.
"Katsuki...everybody is worried about you."
"Everybody, huh? Every single person?"
"Kacchan..."
Katsuki sighed. "I have other business here. Can we just get to the point?"
"No. We can't. There's something you need to know..."
"If it isn't about the person who lived in the tower on the edge of town, I don't want to hear it."
"Kacchan, you need to cool down. I want you to go take a bath and clean up, then join me for dinner. Okay?"
"Only if Ei comes with me."
Izuku gave him a puzzled look. Was he judging Katsuki for bathing with his best friend?
"Right...of course..." He finally shrugged, giving into the request. "Just cool off. We can have this conversation again when you're more relaxed."
"I'm always relaxed."
"Right..."
Katsuki stood from the cushy chair in the study, walking toward the door.
"My guard will lead you toward the baths."
"I know the way." Katsuki had been here before.
"Oh...right..."
When he made his way to the bath, he found that it was already filled with hot water. Izuku must have been planning on taking a bath himself.
"You finally gonna wash your hair?" Eijirou asked, stepping behind him.
"When did you get here?"
"I followed you."
"You're too quiet."
"I know." Eijirou started undressing but Katsuki was frozen in place, like he normally was when his friend had his shirt off.
His body was so scarred and it hurt to look at. Kat waited until Eijirou was submerged in the water before he also undressed and slipped in.
The bath was big enough to hold the two of them, but they were still so close.
"Ah. This is really relaxing." Eijirou closed his eyes. Drops of water gathered in his eyelashes, dropping down his face when they got to heavy.
"Yeah." Katsuki agreed. "Kinda cold though."
"That's because you're used to scalding baths. This is human temperature."
"Fuck humans."
"Only one."
"What?"
"Never mind."
Katsuki sighed. "Moron."
"So, we're staying here, right?"
"I mean...probably." The blond shrugged, sinking deeper into the water. "Are you joining us for dinner?"
"No. I'm not very hungry. And besides, you're going to be talking about that revenge stuff I don't like."
"Don't leave me alone with Deku, Ei. I need you."
"I can't be in there if you're going to be talking about you quest. You know this."
His eyes were so sad.
"You haven't been eating much."
"What are you? My mom?"
"No...but-"
"Katsuki, I promised that I would accompany you through this little revenge plot, but I'm not helping any. You have to do this on your own."
"Do you want me to bring you dinner, then?"
"If you want."
"Of course I want. You're not starving to death on my watch."
"You're not wearing a watch." Eijirou teased. "In fact, you're not wearing anything."
"That's about to change." Katsuki said, standing from the bath and grabbing a towel. "I'll see you after dinner."
