Hyunjin and Daehwi became friends after meeting each other a week ago. He felt a little relief whenever they are with each other's company, whenever they take their favorite coffees in their favorite cafe, whenever they do a movie marathon and just simply talking about random things. Yes, they already did those within a week only.
Which he badly want to do with a specific person his heart and eyes had been looking for.
Daewhi's painting exhibition is happening tomorrow night. Chaerin drove off to the venue of the exhibit to accompany and help facilitating the event and Hyunjin's alone in the house.
It's already 7 in the evening. He's in his favorite couch and keeps on switching the TV channels, obviously he's bored. After a multiple stuff running inside his head, he finally decided to go outside. He took out his favorite hoodie and his cellphone before closing the door behind him. He started to walk down the street as the cold breeze flashes.
When he was in South Korea, he doesn't do things like what he's doing right now or even his routine when he came in LA. It's because way back there, drinking and sneaking in random bars holding his fake ID is what keeps him alive but miserable.
But flipping out the situation of being miserable, he thought he has someone that helps him to stay. Even though he never showed up treating the boy nicely but he knew it, he's something to him.
He pulled out from his own thoughts as he entered inside the first convenient store he saw across the street.
As he opened the double glass door, the girl in the counter greeted him with a wide smile, he smiled back and took steps to the random aisle to get some chips or whatever snack he might like.
He made his way to the freezer of ice creams and was about to open it when someone caught his attention.
His chest starts to pound—no, it feels like there is a bomb inside his chest as he secretly stares on the two guys facing the shelves of some random snacks, they seemed choosing what to buy and the thought of them smiling at each other while talking really is punching over Hyunjin's face. Thankfully, he's wearing his red hoodie to hide—but behind those hoodie, his broken heart.
Seeing the love of his life smiling towards someone else, tears do want to free themselves from his eyes but he tried to keep them up but his throat starts to get hurt.
He can't believe he's seeing his Seungmin in the same country, the same town—the same place but it's unexpected. Because he isn't alone.
