His mind's battling. Will he show himself? Or will he just go somewhere else?

He bit his lower lip, his both hands are shaking, chest pounding and tears slowly stopping. He swallowed after multiple battles his mind did. He breathe deeply, wipe all tears on his face and clears himself before starting to walk. He should be cool and calm.

Both of his shaking hands are on the pocket of his hoodie, slowly gripping at the cloth inside as he is slowly getting nearer to the younger.

Seungmin and the other guy chose a table beside the glass walls of the convenience store.

He walked to their table as if he's not dying by the races of his heartbeat. He sees how the love of his life smiles caused by someone else. By the moment their eyes meet, he felt his throat starts aching all of the sudden. As well as his heart.

The two stopped chitchatting as they noticed Hyunjin standing beside their table. Looking like he's fine at all. He smiles.

“H—hyunjin...” the younger stuttered a bit. Hyunjin on the other side, feels the pain. He'd been longing for his name to be uttered by his love. He didn't show he's hurting anyway.

“Hi... Good to see you after a long time.” the elder says. Shocked by how he managed to say the whole thing without even stuttering. Not minding it sounded awkward.

“Uh... Yeah, me too.”

“Have a sit.” they both look to the guy who's with Seungmin at the moment, Seungmin nods as Hyunjin sit beside him.

“So you guys seemed an old good friends? Right bub?” the guy says as he sips on his drinks. The name caught Hyunjin. Grips into the cloth of his hoodie even more. He smiles bitterly.

“Yeah, Kai this is Hyunjin and Hyunjin this is Kai, my—”

“His boyfriend.” Kai immediately says, smiling.

The words are deafening for Hyunjin. Yet, they shook hands. He look at the younger and concluded he's happy. Having someone who didn't took him for granted like he did before. He claimed the fault and blamed no one but himself. If he didn't treated the younger like how no one doesn't deserve to be treated like, maybe he's happy now having the younger.

But it's not what happened and he can never go back to make everything better.

“Glad to know that.” he says and smiles under the pain.

“So Hyunjin, stayin' here for good?” asked Kai holding Seungmin's hand above the table which Hyunjin's holding himself to stare at. For the first time ever, he need Daewhi's presence.

“Yeah... I'm planning to start school right after summer but it's not yet final tho.” he tried to speak and act natural and he's good at it.

“Well, good. Maybe we could hangout together before class starts, is it alright?” Kai says.

“Uh y—yeah, sure. Since Seungmin and I didn't get to see each other for years.”

“Got the point!” Kai exclaimed.

A phone buzzes from Kai and he immediately answers the call.

“Mom's calling bub. Excuse me for a sec.” they nodded and Kai went for a distance to answer his mom. Now, Seungmin and Hyunjin are alone. Silence wrapped around the atmosphere.

“You're quiet.”

“I am. I don't talk that much.”

“How's he?”

“He's good and... caring.”

“You seemed happy with him, are you?”

“Yeah, he appreciates me that much and I guess that'll be enough to say he loves me.”

“Do you love him then?”

Silence. Hyunjin can't believe he still have the guts to ask that when those words the younger said are crushing his heart into pieces.

Seungmin didn't get the chance to answer because Kai's already coming back. Hyunjin stood up and wait for Kai to get back on his seat.

“You're going?”

“Uh yeah, just got many things to do at home. It's really nice to meet you, Kai. See you then, and take care of Seungmin. He's a bit clumsy.” he says kiddingly. Kai smiled at him and he smiles back too.

“Of course, he always got my back. No worries.”

He look at the younger and for a moment he stares at the every details of the younger's face. He just badly wanna hug him. He missed him so bad for a long time and now, he's infront of him but he's not in the right place to hug the younger.

They smiled into each other, “Take care, hyung.” says the younger. He nods.

He went out of the convenience store and tears could no longer hold themselves.

I don't exactly know what now.
