this poem is about my mother ... i won 2nd with poem in a poetry contest was held over here ^.^ I'm very proud of myself :P though i kinda hated the poem a bit cos i thought i was terrible .... tell me what do you think ??
The world was so dark, full of shadows and tears.
But now you are here to lighten the world and take away all my fears.
You're the reason why I smile when I sleep and be happy for infinity.
You help me and my soul to leave the immorality and go for clarity.
You are my sunshine, glazing star and my guide home.
When I'm sitting by the window, I know I'm never alone.
You turn black into white, charcoal into diamonds and a tear into a smile.
I don't know if you're an angel that came for me from thousands of miles.
No wonder that the moon and the sun are jealous from you.
They used to be what shines and lights my way but now it's only you.
My angel, my sweet sunshine you are the reason why I'm here in this life.
Mother a sweet gentle word that means a great a Mom and wife.
Thank you for being so patient with me and caring all the time.
If I could repay you some how, I would give you my body, soul and dims.
My sunshine, my beautiful moon that watches over me day and night.
Please forgive me for the things you had to bear and all the people you had to fight.
I promise you I'll always keep your head beyond all heads, held tall.
I'll work hard to make your tears turn into a smile ,I'll always be there for you fall.
And all that I'm asking you is to keep doing what you do best and that's being my mother.
We shall never be apart, we shall, always, stay together.
