Jimon sat in the opulent room he was given for the night waiting for someone to fetch him. He had dressed so he would be ready if someone came for him. Afraid to wander the halls and be reprimanded for his curiosity, he waited patiently for hopefully Sugi to come for him. He starred out the window the morning light illuminating the prince's courtyard where this whole adventure had begun.

It was a lot more impressive in the morning light. The dew on the grass shimmering in the early morning sun with hints of mist still clinging to the ground. The yard was surrounded by flowering trees and at each end an ornate wooden bench surrounded by white roses. Just beyond the garden, a lush green meadow glittered with tiny white butterflies that fluttered in the light like magical fairies. Past the meadow, a thicket of beech trees stood in the misty morning. This must be the path he took that led him to the prince's violet eyes. He smiles thinking of the look on his face as they met in the darkness.

In spite of everything, he was glad he had taken that path.  Of course, he couldn't tell the prince that he was oddly attracted to him, after all, he was a boy and not a princess. A rather ridiculous thought came to his mind as he imagined himself as a princess.

Jimon giggled the lovely sound filling the room as his shoulders shook in mirth. It took him a few seconds to realize he wasn't alone anymore. His adorable plump cheeks turning pink.

Sugi was staring, his mask discarded in more ways than one. For too long, it seemed because the view he'd been enthralled with soon twisted into furrowed brows and pink cheeks. Only then did he realized that Jimon was looking back at him. It didn't take long before it was Sugi himself that was blushing even more than the angel that sat by the window. He looked away at that instant, choosing to fix his gaze out the window instead.

"Why were you staring at me?" Jimon asked.

"No, I wasn't looking at you," Sugi contradicted, still managing to keep his normal tone, that didn't match his rosy cheeks.

Jimon though just smiled and held back a small laugh, something that of course Sugi didn't miss.

The prince cleared his throat and said, " I thought we could breakfast in the garden. It's a beautiful day."

Jimon smiled, "will your friends be joining us?"

"No, I have you all to myself. They are notoriously late to rise."

Jimon wondered which one Sugi had slept with. Although the girl was all over him, it was the boy that he had kissed most passionately on the mouth. Still, he had no idea which one Sugi liked more since his eyes were hidden by the mask.

Sugi leads him to the garden that now had a table set for breakfast. Once they were served he asked the guard, Jeon, to not let anyone disturb them since he wanted to remove his mask and feel the cool breeze on this cheeks.

He turns to Jimon that stared at the table with a perplexed look on his face.

Jimon wondered which fork to use and never felt more out of place. He didn't want to eat a thing. He just wanted to leave this place behind like a bad dream that is best forgotten.

"Jimon, it's okay to be yourself. In fact, it's you I really want to get to know. I want to hear all about you. What you like and dislike?" The prince looked at him with pleading eyes his voice trailing to a whisper as if he was asking too much of this boy.

Jimon stares at him in disbelief. He feels like he has stepped into a dream because only in a dream would someone say those things to him. No one has ever wanted to know him before this. He was just little Jimon, the quiet boy from a small town that would never do anything grand or go on any adventures.
