"I need your help", Harry whispered at her, as he grabbed her arm and pulled her into a quiet corner. "We have two Horcruxes left to be found. I have no freaking idea where Hermione and Ron are."
"Just tell me what to do", she replied, feeling Fred's eyes on her.
"Ravenclaw's diadem", said Harry, and Ember understood. "I have to go to the Great Hall, McGonagall is waiting there with the Order. Snape fled, but I'm sure he won't be gone for long." Out of the corner of her eyes, Ember noticed Fred came closer, and Harry didn't miss it. "He can't come with you." His face grew faster. "No one besides Ron, Hermione and the two of us shall be involved with the Horcr—"
"If you want to evacuate the castle, we should get the Room of Requirement empty", said Fred and Harry immediately fell silent.
"Right." Harry gave a short nod. "Bring Emmie down to the Great Hall and —"
"Bad idea", Fred again interrupted Harry. "Remus doesn't know she's here."
"And I want to leave him in this believe", Ember added. "The two of you should go to the Great Hall. I will stay here and help Ginny with evacuation."
"I can stay here with you if you want me to", Fred said, his face wearing a uncommonly stern expression.
But Ember shook her head. "Go with George, I got this", she replied.
Fred hesitated for a brief moment, then turned around. "I'll check on you in no time", he called over his shoulder, before he, George and Lee exited through the door.
Ember immediately turned back to her brother. "Go now", she told him. "I'll go looking for the diadem. And you go find Ron and Hermione."
Harry pulled her into a hug. "Take care, okay? The grounds are secured, but it won't keep Voldemort out for forever. And the Carrows are still somewhere around the castle."
"Don't do anything stupid, yeah?", she muttered against his shoulder.
He shook his head. "We will meet here in an hour, whether we have the diadem or not."
The first students entered the Room of Requirement, leaded by Zacharias Smith, who almost ran over some first years during his rush at the door that would lead them to Hogsmeade. His eyes caught Ember's, having him almost stumbling over his own feet, before he vanished.
"Coward", Ember mumbled under her breath, before she turned on heels and followed Harry into the gloomy corridor, where their paths immediately parted without another word for each other.
There was nothing left to say. This was it. The final fight. Ember tightly closed her fist around her wand and her feet started running without having any idea where to go.
