  "Edd? Where are you going?" You stare into your brother's eyes, confused to why he was running around late at this hour.
"I-I umm..." He looks around to see if anyone was listening then he quickly turned back to you. He seemed on edge and tired as if he was thinking of something all day that upset him.
"I'm running away..." He finally whispered and your eyes widened in shock, you covered your mouth in horror as you remembered what Edd said to you that fateful day. He worked for another army and was undercover...today is the day he returns back to his rightful side.
"O-oh. But how? Who's going to help you, you can't leave by yourself! I won't let you!" You whisper-yelled, clenching your fist in anger but also worry. Edd noticed this and held your hands, rubbing them softly which calmed you down a bit.
"Of course not, someones waiting for me on the other side of the wall... Her name is Haven, she'll take care of me, it's her duty anyways..." He mumbles the last part, you sit in silence thinking over everything. You knew deep inside that something like this would happen but you were too caught up in your stupid love life to realize. This thought made more tears well up in your eyes, everything seemed to be falling apart. First, it was Jesse discarding your trust now its Edd leaving and you just got him back. You wanted to break down, really you did but you held it in.
"You promise that she can keep you safe?" You ask, hoping for a 100℅ sure answer.
"I hope so, I don't really know her that much... But I'm sure she's fine. They did send her for an important mission of course." He jokes, rubbing the back of his neck. You punched him in his arm and glare, but it softens. You hug your brother, holding him close almost not wanting to let go.
"I love you, Edd..." You whisper, tears flowing down your cheeks.
"Hehe, I love you more than cola (Y/N)" he huge you back hiding his face in your red hoodie. Little did you know he was drying his tears, hating that he had to leave you again. You both let go and smiled. Edd looked at his watched and sighed.
"I gotta go (Y/N)..." He hesitantly stood up, helping you get up too. You don't say anything, you just nod keeping your head down.
Before running, Edd kisses the top of your head making you pout. You both turn your own ways and depart. You turned your head to look down the dark hallway. Sighing you say,

"I'll miss you..."
